Ceramic Tile Service
The shower is in a guest room area therefore seldom used. After several visits by family members who used the shower we noticed a "musty / mildew" odor and finally traced it back to find a leak in the shower pan liner. Further exploration exposed the pan liner was folded incorrectly on 2 of the 4 corners allowing water to flow out into the attic space.
Scott Head dba Best Ceramic Tile refused to take any action, stating it was "outside his one year warranty", however no warranty period was ever stated verbally or in writing.
The "reputable" ceramic tile contractor (Roberts Tile, Inc.) we chose to remove the defective work and install it properly saw the improper pan liner folds and confirmed what we had discovered on our own. He also noted the shower drain was above the sub-flooring preventing water from draining out of the "weep holes". This caused water to stand in the pan thus causing odor and mildew.
My advice....NEVER LET THIS MAN NEAR YOUR HOUSE.
