All Wired Up
About us
Chris Simmons of Forsyth is the owner of All Wired Up, a full service security and low voltage wiring company that's not only local but also offers the best rates around. Simmons started All Wired Up in 2006 as a side business while he worked full-time for the Macon-Bibb County Fire Department. Because of his focus on customer service and affordable rates, the business has grown to the point where in 2011 he was able to leave his firefighting job to manage the business full-time. All Wired Up can handle just about any wiring needs in homes or businesses, including security systems, surveillance cameras, alarm monitoring, and phone systems. Better yet, All Wired Up does not require a contract and monitors its security systems for just $14.95 per month, well below the rates of most security companies ($24.95 if no landline phone). Most of All Wired Up's competitors require contracts. All Wired Up is truly a family business, as Simmons' wife Jennifer Simmons, a 1999 Mary Persons graduate/ and a 2007 Macon State College graduate handles the marketing and business functions for the business. Not only can All Wired Up install security systems but homeowners can switch from other security systems to enjoy the lower rates as soon as those burdensome contracts expire. All Wired Up can switch systems over for just $50, and offers a $25 rebate to any customer who gives them a referral. Security systems help families have peace of mind, because they know if anyone opens a door, the alarm scares off intruders and automatically calls police to the home. All Wired Up also installs security cameras at homes or businesses which can be monitored by homeowners live on a smart phone or computer. Chris Simmons entered the low voltage business in 1999 working with Call For Service Communications on the side when he wasn't serving as a Macon-Bibb firefighter. He learned how to wire phone and security systems for homes and businesses. He also served in the Georgia National Guard and did a 15-month deployment in Iraq fighting for his country. In 2006 he had learned the business well enough to launch on his own with All Wired Up, and in 2011 he had built up such a reputation that he was able to leave firefighting altogether and be a full-time business owner.
