Talisman construction built me a beautiful custom built-in cabinet for my dining room. He and his team were very professional and did top notch work in a timely fashion. I would recommend them to anyone.

I was wanting some interior updates done to my home and was referred to Mr. Talisman by a friend. When he came out he was very professional and respectful. I discussed with him my ideas and he was extremely honest about what was acheiveable and what was not. After all was said and done, Mr. Talisman took my vision and made it a reality. He did an absolutely amazing job! I would highly recommend him for any interior remodeling you may need! I wasn't able to find the before picture, in my photos but this is the after!

Tallisman Construction was very professional, very efficient, they definitely went above and beyond. They did a phenomenal job, I didn’t find one flaw within their work! This remodel was worth every penny, you definitely get what you pay for! If you need something done, they will understand the assignment to the T! Thank you for making my dream project come true! We hired John Talisman based on reviews from a neighbor and from Home Advisor. We have no issues with the countertops and new sink he installed at our lake house. However the ceramic floor tile he installed immediately was unstable and the grout was crumbling. He assured us he would correct the problem by stabilizing the sub floor and retiling the affected areas. He told us to purchase additional tile, which we did, and took the heavy boxes ourselves to our lake house. He keeps giving excuses and giving us the run around. Bottom line: John is not true to his word and does not stand behind his work! We have tried to be patient with him knowing he had another job and did this on the side. H

On the strength of the prior reviews here, I hired John to install tile in a new bathroom. He now apparently has another full-time job and does these smaller jobs whenever he has time. The floor and shower walls appear to be OK however, he sloped the shower floor the wrong way resulting in standing water that would not drain. He came back a second time before his other job and installed a second layer of tile, also sloped incorrectly. After that, he missed two appointments with no notice and then said he no longer had time to repair his work. John may have other skills not including tiling but be aware of his scheduling constraints and unwillingness to stand behind his work.

John is great to work with! Professional, honest, down-to-earth. I couldn't be happier with the job he did replacing the siding/corner board on our chimney and some other minor repairs/touch-up painting! Quality work at a fair price.

John was FANTASTIC!!! As a real estate professional you want individuals who are very informative about everything they do, fair in price and very professional. He was that and more! I have already hired him again for my next project!

John responded to my request within a few minutes of submitting my form. We contacted him to complete a few minor repairs before closing on a home that we sold. He was able to start the very next day & had all projects finished within a couple of days. We were very pleased with his work & the price!

I had built in shelves added to my son's room and love the final results. John was really professional and focused on price, outcome and timeline. He did exactly what he said he would. He provided good ideas and he was clean with his work. I will use More Than Meets the Eye again.

John is a pro, and it shows... he is attentive to detail, hard-working and communicates very well. He has an ability to use his expert knowledge and viewpoint to make very good suggestions on layout, design and then implementation.
