I bought some films and planned to install them myself. I changed my mind and hired a pro instead mainly due to potential safety issue working with high windows. Fast reasonable quote. Efficient.

Large 2 story house with lots of East/West facing windows and therefore a lot of heat coming in during the day - even though we had triple pane windows installed when we bought the house, still had more heat coming in through windows than preferred (verified with thermal imaging camera) We also have storm windows installed in front of the normal windows, so asked Scott w/Superior Tint to tint those instead of the normal windows. It looks amazing - house is already more comfortable (less temp differences & hot spots). We went with the mirror finish and that is exactly what it is during the day, my wife was standing inside the house on the other side of the window and I literally could not see her standing there with me on the outside looking in. Inside of house is much darker than before but we knew it would be and decided we will just beef up our LED lights an got with more "Day Light" bulbs to get the desired affect. It is worth noting that I posted a need for window tinting on Home Advisor late Friday night, Superior tint called me and had a rep at my house Saturday and they were 100% finished with the job by the next Saturday. We not only like the service and product but feel we received a very fair price for the work done (note: we also had 4 mm security film installed over our glass doors - it is over the tint and don't even notice it). Only time will tell how well this holds up but more than happy right now.
