How did it go? It didn't go very well. Contractor signed contract on 23 September after 30 September contractor still has not begunthe work on yard, even after a down payment of 50% was paid to the contractor. After calling contractor multiple times Contractor kept coming up with excuses as to why he could not begin a 2 day job (by his estimate) on a timely timeline, finally had to officially charge the contractor with breach of contract contractor emotionally upset that I was pushing breach of contract lost his mind on the phone. Witness to this conversation in the vehicle contractor message later, stating hey, contact me to discuss refund process. As of 28 October, I have not heard from the contractor about the refund, or the rocks to be removed from my yard. I fear, I am going to have to take the contractor to small claims court to get my fifty percent deposit back.

I hired the contractor and paid a lot of money for the job and they did not finish it

Wilcox came out on labor day weekend to see the damage that we did to the septic cover after running the truck on top of it. They dug it out and got it ready for a new cover. As soon as the cover came in, they installed it and now we are up to code. Mr. Wilcox communicated with us throughout the project.

The job was fine went well. I will recommend the owner Mr. Melvin Wilcox and Mr. Robert Leverson to anyone who needs their services.

I searched for a gutter installer on Angie for a flooding issue on my front porch. I got a call from Melvin Wilcox and he came over right away. i told him what issues I was having trusting he would tell me what I needed to do. He spoke as if he worked for the same company or was in charge of gutter installing. Mr. Wilcox said that normally he would charge someone $8,000 for this type of job. then he said he would charge me $4,500 and after a discussion he said he will charge me $4,000 instead. Nest he said he collect half up front, So I gave him $2000 cash. I asked for my receipt, he got on the phone and said he was calling his secretary to email me a receipt, He hung up saying she's about to send it to email it then Later after I checked he was already gone. He then claimed my email was not working. I told him he could send me a handwritten receipt. I did not get a receipt for the initial amount I gave him which was $2,000 until he came when the Gutter Company came. He told me his truck was in the shop and he couldn't come. i told him i didn't want his guys starting work when he not present. Suddenly he was able to get to my home within the hour. Only then did I receive a receipt for the $2,000. He then wanted the $2,000 before he did the work. I told him I didn't feel comfortable giving him the rest, so he said $1500 would be okay and he would collect $500 after he completed the work. He stood me up on that Saturday. He said I didn't answer right away that morning, so he sent his worker's home. Then he said Monday he would be here. Monday came and he said he was sick from my cold he caught from me from is prior visit. He then said he was playing and the real reason why he could not come was that his equipment was broken. He told me he was coming was coming for sure that Wednesday for sure. He didnt tell me the me the truth again. I told him that day if he didnt get it done that day that I wanted monies back. He claimed all of the work is backed by a ten-year warranty. Which I found out later was untrue. Chad dill with Soutern Solutions said that Mr. Wilcox's claim that he paid him $4.000 was not true. He also said he didnt want to get involved but stressed that he didnt get paid that amount. He claimed his wife the scheduler and that she would be checking the schedule to see they could come out as if he had control over Southern Solutions. He argued that he didnt owe me anything because te gutters were $4000 and that he was looking riht there at the receipt for Southern Solutions work. He went on to say that he was doing the French drains for free and basically thats why he didnt owe any refund, ten e said I can keep te balance which was $500,Early on at some poing he said casually about needing French Drains, I didnt need but a portion of the work he said I needed. i went along with it because i trusted that he knew best, I know better now. i believe I needed gutters on the front of the house and the spouts directed away from the front porch like Mr. Dill suggested first. He ended up installing the gutters and spouts where Mr. Wilcox said to put them Mr. Wilcox said instead. Which made it necessary to need te drains. That didn't happen when the gutters were installed because Mr. Wilcox told Mr. Dill where to put the spouts and that he would tie in to the French Drains. At some point Mr. wilcox told me that e would have to come by and cut all my hedges down infront the house. i ended up agreeing to relocate them and not cut them down, He claimed e would do that for extra money. I told him no, then he said he would throw that in and some decorative rocks on him. I have been left with horrific muddy floods to remedy myself because of no extra monies for a project that should have been completed, At some point I realized that after many calls and misconnections that he didn't text me back or leave voicemail. Mr. Wilcox never responded to my text except once wile in my presence I told him I needed his work license and drivers license sent to me. So he did it while I watched him. I still continued to text anyway to remind him in writing what we talked about or discussed. I am available to get phone records from my pone carrier to show the many calls to go to T-Mobile and pull the phone logs. Also I any screenshot records of the text messages to him from me. I believe Mr. Wilcox owe me $3500 minus a realistic amount for gutters to a 1500 square foot single story home. He has not done any work so he don't deserve any pay. He profited off me by subcontracting my job out for a referral fee. Chad Dill said Mr. Wilox deserved some type fee because he did refer him to me. but he was supposed to be my pro not anyone else. I do not and will not ever trust him. i don't ever want this person on my property again. His behavior speaks volumes. he never had any intentions on doing the work and every intention to get as much money as he could steal from me. Please take note of the address connected to his Information connected to is account on Angie. It says 222 Robbed Street, lake Park, Ga, I want someone to not let him get away with faking a receipt of what he paid the gutter company. Mr. Wilcox claims that he paid the Southern Solutions $4000 and lied and told me stories about how he was going to give me $500 of my money back on cas app. that never happened, he said his cash app wasnt working, He said his daughter sent it and that was a lie. Out the blue he said his daughter sent me pdf to sign saying I received the money. I told him that I didn't receive any money. Please let me know if I can clear up about this terrible experience. My notes I am sending were actually to notes just in case, I am sorry if I may have sent extra documents that does not pertain to my claim in error, my lil one's report card may have gotten mixed up in this email attachments. i want to add one note about Mr. Wilcox telling me tat he was doing the drains for free. This is his way of saying he dont anything to me because my $3,500 went on gutters.

He took the time to personally walk the property with me, ensuring that every detail was covered before starting the project. Despite weather-related delays, which he promptly communicated about, I appreciated his understanding and flexibility. When the work finally commenced, I was thoroughly impressed. The lawn leveling and grading works like a charm, as evidenced by how well my yard handled its first heavy rain. It's clear that Wilcox Septic Solutions delivers high-quality workmanship. Based on my experience, I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone needing leveling and grading services and would not hesitate to hire them again for future projects.
