Don't do it? I have no idea who gave Wilcox Septic Solutions a five star. Melvin Wilcox is a straight Crook. We are new to the area. WHAT A DISASTER!. We sign a contract 3/2024. We were told our French Drain would be complete in three months. It's 2/25/25. **, Lies a.nd Flies. Run from this company. The Deceptively and Unfairly manner is unacceptable. RUN RUN RUN. Do No give this company your money up front! I promise you. Don't do it!! . He's a extremely smooth talker. Don't do it! If we could give a ZERO rating we would. The LIES.

I hired Mr. Wilcox on 9-11-24 to complete my drain lines. His original install date was 10-2-24. He finally came on 11-7-24 after him constantly giving me the run around and stated that I needed to purchase a Sump pump and that we needed to give him 3500 in addition to the 3200 we had already paid him. As of 11/7/24 he has collected 6700, he has dug up my yard, tore up my fence and I still do not have a working septic system. He has not install the drain lines or pump and my back yard is completely unusable. Lastly, to add insult to injury everytime I remind him that I have a contract with him and will be taking legal action he says "he has the best lawyer in the world". He does not care about being professional and has taken my money. This has been one of the most horrible experiences of working with a company.

I sought a contractor to address drainage issues in my front and back yard due to inadequate rainwater management. The project involved removing existing sod, installing a French drain from the back corner of the house to the city drain in the front yard, and connecting all downspouts to enhance water flow. After completing this work, new sod would be laid, along with the replacement of any plants that had been removed. Angie provided three contractor referrals, but only two responded. One was quite talkative but did not follow up with an estimate. The second contractor, Wilcox Septic Solutions, contacted me to discuss my needs. Mr. Wilcox visited my property, and we agreed on the project plan. The contractor provided a contract for my review, but I was unsatisfied with its terms and sent a revised version, which he signed. He indicated that work would begin on October 7, 2024, and conclude by October 10, 2024. However, after the start date passed, I made multiple calls for updates, but his responses were inconsistent and always cited reasons for the delays. Feeling I had been patient enough, I sent an email notifying him of a breach of contract. He called to discuss this email, but during our conversation, he became agitated and confrontational, prompting me to end the call, with my father present as a witness. Later, while assisting my father with plumbing repairs in his yard, the contractor texted me to apologize for his earlier outburst and requested a call to discuss the refund process. I reached out on October 19, 2024, to discuss the refund and the removal of the rocks from my yard. As of today, October 29, 2024, I have yet to hear from the contractor, and the rocks remain in my yard, damaging the remaining grass.

Never completed the work. Started the job in March 2024 and now it's October 2024 & my septic tank install not completed. My septic is left open , never finish my drained system & i have paid over half the money for a job he never finished. Keep saying he coming to finish but never shows up & my yard a mess with the septic tank open and it's smells awful. My children can't even go outside to play cause it's dangerous with a big hole in the yard & open pipes & ditches dug. **** this was done to my grandmother****

He took the money and never showed up. When we were able to finally get ahold of him, using another phone, and told him we wanted our money back, he wrote us a bad check. When we finally got in touch with him again, he said he was taking out a cancellation fee???? WTH No, he isnt. We have the police involved.

***FRAUD ALERT *** My elderly parents hired them to install a septic tank. He never showed up, after chasing him to get a refund, he wore a bad check. Not answering phone, we are reporting for fraud!

Melvin did a good job , but has yet to provide me with my contract and the work was done right at 8 months ago.

Great job and completely removed four trees and installed a new drain field in 2 days.

He was very polite and told me what he would do and when he would be there to start. The day before he was set to start he brought over his equipment and showed up the very next day when the chickens where up to get started. He completed job in a very timely manner. He told me it would take about 3-5 days to get everything finished and it was finished in about 4 1/2 days due to the weather.
