GATEKEEPER PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

The owner of the company Brett Vincent made a personal call to the house to .gain our trust. His business model for the company is similar of bad insurance companies; send out a "face" of the company, get as many new customers as possible, keep a minimum staff, and make promises that later will not be honored.  In the two years he was contracted to me, there were over 8 what I would consider minor issues with the house, i.e. clogged drains, A/C not working properly, etc.  Instead of checking on the severity of the problem, his small staff of 6 to 10 employees simply called a plumber/A/C repair type person.  these house calls carried with it a normal 50 - 100 dollar minimum fee that was charged to me as the owner.  My wife and I had to consistently get involved in each issue, because we felt the company was not managing our home, but rather out drumming up new business.  The final straw was during the final walk through before we moved back home.  The tenants had a child whom they let write on the walls of the house, they had never changed the A/C filters (reason for them not working properly), and had burned our countertops.  None of these things were recorded by the inspector and I was told the entire security deposit would be returned to the tenants.  I personally went to the company and requested a copy of the inspection, which I received days later.  Only after threat of law suit, did I get a portion of the security deposit back.  There are many property managers in Georgia.  Recommend you look elsewhere for service.
