Eden Roof Restoration

I called to make an appointment and the guy told me a price right away without having to come out first. He told me he used map software to look at my house and figure the price. This was disconcerting but I went along with it. The area around my home had been recently landscaped and I was concerned that the plants would be damaged with the toxic chemicals, so I asked him to tarp the plantings to protect them. Again, he had an answer: his chemicals wouldn't harm the plants so he didn't need to tarp. I didn't understand this since mold is a plant and these chemicals would be killing the mold. But he had all the answers and we set a time and date. Due to an emergency, I was not able to be there when the work wane. When I notified him of this, he told me that it wasn't necessary that I be there. When I returned, I noticed that while my roof was clean, many of my plantings had been badly burned. Some looked dead. Again, this guy had all the answers. The plants would come back. So I waited. And some did come back. But the hydrangeas and gardenias were killed off and my Japanese maple still isn't OK. It cost me $500 to have my landscaper replace 10 plants. When I called the guy at Eden to advise him of this, he laughed at me. He told me that he could replace the plantings for $5 apiece and he wouldn't reimburse me for the replacements. Now I have to sue him for restitution.
