A-1 Landscaping

(Not to be confused with other companies called A-1 Landscaping, this one is owned and operated by Oracio Magana.) We are not gardeners, and we've never done much with our yard beyond maintain the grass and shrubs. The foundation shrubs were dying after twelve years and didn't look good. I also had a tree getting way too big for the spot it was in and also a sick tree. Oracio came over for the estimate and was full of ideas on what to do to make the yard beautiful. I had done some research and had a loose plan drawn up, but the plan looked a lot different after he and I walked around the yard and talked for a long time about what I wanted. He is very VERY polite and has his own great advice and a vision for what will look good and do well, but will not force his ideas on you. His prompt estimate came in and was less than half the amount that another landscaping company had given me, with a whole lot more work included and more plants involved (nicer plants too). He and his brother did the work themselves. They showed up promptly when they said they would and stayed until after 6pm for three consecutive days to complete the work. I can't praise Oracio Magana enough. Rarely have I had such a great experience with a contractor. So professional, so hardworking, and great attention given to every small detail. My yard was beautiful, watered, and neat as a pin when they were finished! He even trimmed up some shrubs I already had without asking. I give him my highest recommendation. I'm already planning to call him again to estimate redoing our back yard.
