About us
outhern Landscaping and Lawncare, Inc. is a locally owned and operated company. The company was established in 1986 and in 1988 the organization became incorporated. Since then, the company has grown from a small operation to a full service landscape company. In 2000, Southern added a hardscape division, which consists of designing and constructing patios, walls, and stone structures. Then in March 2003, a Garden and Gift Shop was opened in the heart of Columbia County; this location serves ground for all of Southern’s operations. In 2004, Southern began an outdoor lighting company and in 2005 Holiday Décor was established. Mid 2006, Southern expanded and opened a corporate office next to their Garden and Gift Shop. In 2007 the expansion brought about a stone and mulch yard, as well as more grounds for plant material.

They have shown a total lack of respect for customers and I would NOT recommend them to anyone. I feel like I have them more than a fair chance to do the right thing by calling back so many times.
If I had known they were so unprofessional, incompetent and unreliable I would never have wasted 6 weeks waiting for an appointment.
"Unfortunately our landscaping department usually stays booked up at 2 months in advance. We do try to notify all of our customers before they make an appointment so we do not waste their time. When Chris met you he did a quick estimate so unfortunately our office does not have access to all of those estimates. We do try and call all our customer back in a timely manner and apologize if you did get overlooked as all of our customers are important to us. We sincerely apologize that you feel like you did not have a good experience with our company."

We try to get back to customers within 48 hours and we try to explain how long it will take us to get a customers yard.
