East Georgia Fence

We requested an estimate to have a fence installed around the perimeter of our property. The employee showed up over 30 minutes late and was in a rush from the moment he arrived. He barely seemed interested in the project at all and it was like pulling teeth to get him to answer any questions. When he did answer, it was a one or two word response and it seemed that we were annoying him. He hurriedly took measurements and told us he would send us an email quote, which we never received. Honestly, even if we HAD received a quote, probably would not have hired. I realize you may have more important or lucrative projects to work on, but why even bother showing up if you don't care or want the business in the first place?

Outstanding job. Travis came by and provided a free quote which included a breakdown for each run so we could provide it to our neighbors in case they wanted to subsidize the payment for that portion of the fence that ran along their yard. Upon acceptance of the work we scheduled the work. On the day scheduled workers showed up around 8 am and immediately began ripping out the old fence. By the end of the first day the old fence was gone and the posts for the new fence were in the dirt. The posts (4x4) were buried at least 2-feet deep using a dry tamp down method which allows them to begin building the fence the next day. Essentially the posts are buried using dry cement mixture which absorbs water and moisture from the earth strengthening the post foundation. They showed up the next day and began running the fence pickets. I was impressed that they were actually checking the pickets for imperfections (big knots, splits, etc.) which ensured the fence was sound. As there were some small spaces at the bottom of the fence, they left me some pickets to place at the bottom to keep our small dog from digging under the fence. By the end of the day second day the fence was complete. They packed up but didn't have enough room on the truck so left a couple things which they promised to pickup the following day. They came by as promised and picked up the remaining items. Travis came by at the end of each work day to review the work and answer any questions we had. - Paid half up front and the other half at the end of the job, when the remaining materials were removed. - Though 4x4 posts were used, the 10' steel-reinforced gate utilized 6x6 posts providing that extra strength need for the swinging of the gates.
