We used them twice and both times the price at the end was nearly double the price I was quoted. The first time was an emergency when my spicket broke off after I turned the hose on. I assumed there was confusion with the woman on the phone-who quoted $45 and the man who arrived that said it would be $75 to fix. The second time I was quoted $300 and the final price was $500. The worker was arrived late and was at my house for 45 minutes. I asked for clarification on the invoice and they were unable to provide an explanation for the labor cost, cost per employee or hour. Instead I got a response that they were insulted I was asking for clarification. They fixed 4 more roof boots-but the supply cost total was $60–which means the labor cost for less than an hour was $440 total.

"I am positive the woman on the phone did not quote you $45, our service calls are $85 and we do not quote prices over the phone. The man who arrived is the business owner who dropped everything for your emergency call and was giving you a discounted price of $75. Also, if you check around with reputable, licensed and bonded companies you will find our prices are very reasonable. Roof boots are typically $100 each, we quoted you $300 for three and you asked us to inspect and replace any others that needed to be replaced and that is what we did. You had seven roof boots replaced for $500 on a steep two story roof. We broke down our labor and material costs for you as you even stated above, I am not sure what else we could tell you. Even this 2016 Angie's List answer says $100 UNLESS THE ROOF IS STEEP and yours is very steep. It is unfortunate you are unable to see the value in services provided to your home. https://answers.angieslist.com/What-average-cost-replace-roof-pipes-boots-q231480.aspx"

Both jobs were performed professionally and promptly. In addition, a needed repair was discovered on roof. worker took picture before and after to validate work needed and completed and spare me the need to get on roof. cost of additional work was determined by phone and work was completed on spot. Have previously used this company and, although I feel prices are a little high, I have always been satisfied with professionalism and work product

The one man came in to clean my carpet the were supposed to do up to 4 rooms for a certain price. I only had 2 rooms that needed cleaning and asked about my stairs over the phone I was told there would be no additional charge because it would count as a room. Once the worker was complete he told me there would be an additional charge for my stairs. I told him what was discussed on the phone and he said he didn't know why I was told that but that there would be an additional charge for the stairs.

I paid the additional fee. But I was told my floors would be dry in about 4 hours. My floors were soaked and it took three days to dry completely.

The price quoted was not made clear that it was just for the glass, and that the total price was double that price.

I have used these guys every year for the past 4 years and have been very satisfied. They do a very nice job. This last time, the young man doing the work was very meticulous about making sure everything was cleaned before he left. He even moved some large plastic equipment boxes to clean beneath, something I hadn't expected him to do. Highly recommended.

Craig is very responsive. He was able to come out in the afternoon and was also able to make suggestions on another issue we were having.

They were quick.  I did some shopping and within an hour and a half it was all done.  It was beautiful and it looks like a brand new house.

They always call to work out the monthly schedule. The technician does a very thorough work in and outside the house.
I appreciate the work they did on my home that I recommend them to my mother.

Initially saw their ad in church bulletin and called them to do yard and gutter cleaning.  Staff came out and gave me a fair estimate and have always been prompt and professional.

I called Clean N Brite to make repairs to a rental property after having issues with a previous contractor.  Craig and his staff were very responsive and sent me an email estimate of the repair costs within 24 hours of visiting the site. The price was fair for the work and they were able to schedule a time within a few days of my first contact with them.  The tenet at the property was very happy with the results and I was pleased with Clean N Brite's speedy response.

Craig came out with two guys even earlier than expected and within two hours had the whole job done. They replaced only what was necessary to keep our costs down. (We'd already paid for the water heater ourselves.) Each person there, including Craig, were professional and respectful. One employee did smoke and Craig made sure he didn't smoke anywhere but near the street (and pulled him aside to tell him). We will absolutely hire this company again!

Original estimate was for french drain piping however much I insisted that I did not want or need french drain.  The night before the work was to start I called the owner and reiterated that I did not want a french drain and he agreed.  When I asked about price difference, he said there was no price difference between french drain and straight piping.  What I ended up with was a straight pipe on top of unnecessary gravel.  We agreed that payment would be due when the job was finished.

An additional drain was needed and that was put in exactly right on top of the edging of the landscaping island even after I told them not to put it there.  Then they "replaced" the edging by making a bulge around the drain so that it looked like a corpse with a clown's nose.  When they dug the trench for the piping, they tore up my edging and put it under the edging.  When they put the edging back, they just threw the stones back with no concern to alignment or level.

At the end of the pipe, I told them I just wanted an opening for the water to join the water from the neighborhood runoff.  They wanted to put in a dry well to catch the water and I said no.  When I got home, I found that they put in the dry well and tore up my stream stones that were there.  When the tore up the stones, they cut the material underneath intended to stop weeds from growing and didn't replace it.  Then they haphazardly threw the stones back with no concern for coverage or placement.  When I got home that night, I noticed that they must have run out of stones for the drywell and it was about 6 inches below level.

On the day I was home, I watched two full-grown men working all day to move a sprinkler head 6 feet.  The first time I used it, it was leaking underground where the original head was located and, since the owner of Clean N Brite never answered my calls, I had to get another person in to fix it.

The "topsoil" that was delivered was backfill dirt... complete with 90% sand and stones.

I called and told the owner about the problems and he sent his "landscaping" person back to fix it.  In the end, I had to make it right myself.  All they did was to move the one drain back into the island and allow me to straighten out the edging.  They said they would be back in a day or so to remove the backfill and replace it with topsoil.

After waiting two weeks, I started calling the owner.  He did not answer his phone or answer the voicemails I left over a period of 4 weeks.  I was able to get someone to answer the business phone once and was told that the "landscaping" person would call me but they never did.  After another two weeks, I figured out how much it would cost me to have someone else fix the problems, deducted that amount from the original estimate, and sent him a check.

Suddenly, I got a phone call from the owner stating that he didn't think the amount I paid was "fair" and asked to make things right.  My wife wanted to give them a chance because we knew the owner's father and mother so we did.  They scraped away about an inch of topsoil, and them sprinkled some topsoil on top of the backfill.  I asked the "landscape" guy where the 3 yards were and he said it was only about 1.5 yards.  They tried to tell me that the stones in the drywell had settled 6 inches but that's nonsense.  They put some more stones on top and then haphazardly covered it up.  If I had not been home, they would have thrown the riverstones that I had purchased away as they couldn't figure out how to put them back.  In the end, I had to do that as well while they watched.

So, the phone calls started again.  Again, no response.  At the beginning of May, we received a bill from them stating that we were 60 days late paying.  We paid it, minus the cost for 1.5 yards of topsoil, just to get rid of them.

DO NOT hire these people.  If you enjoy working with a bunch of 12-year olds trying to make their first lemonaid stand a success, then by all means, give them a shot.  Their workmanship was soddy at best.  When we were given a price for french drains that we didn't need or want and were told that there was no price difference between straight pipe and french drains, it proved these guys are crooks.  Also, charging people for materials not delivered isn't the best of practices if you are concerned about being viewed as good businessmen.  They needed supervision 100% of the way and even then, were incapable of delivering even a marginally acceptable job.  I now have erosion problems and a swamp where they put in their drywell that I didn't want.  The only thing positive I can say about them is that they smiled as you made believe they knew what they were doing and watched you finish their work for them.

July 7, 2011 - just received another bill in the mail for more money for materials they didn't deliver.  Called the owner and he said it was for the truck and transportation of the materials.  I told him I had the receipt from his foreman stating that we had not received the materials but that didn't matter to the owner.

Special note about the owner - With all the trouble we had throughout this thing, he never once called to ask how things were going.  When we paid last month without the cost of the 1.5 yards of topsoil that we did not get, he didn't bother to even call.  He just sent another bill.  Avoid thise people.

"The member originally called me inquiring about a french drain. He had a pool of water off of his patio, for days after any rainfall. I agreed that this would be a great solution to his issue. We agreed on a price for the work and set a start date. Before starting the project, the member wanted to change the scope of work by changing the type of piping. We once again agreed on the change in materials and the price. He felt strongly that this was a better solution; in my opinion either option would bring the same result. During the project the member continuously insisted on changing the scope of work, we were able to do some things his way, but some were just unneccessary and would have caused larger issues in his yard. I sent my crew back to the member's home to repair an area where the ground settled after a hard rain. My men were welcomed by the member, with cursing and yelling at the top of his lungs to get off of his property. Hence, nothing got done this day! After this "event" I called the member and asked "what it would take to make him happy?" The member told me the issues were very minor. I met the member and his wife at their home, we went over their concerns. At this time they were very pleased with how well the drain system was working and there was no longer standing water by their patio. I agreed to take care of the minor concerns immediately and we did. When I spoke to him following the completion of the work, he was extremely happy with our work. It seems he only became dissatisfied when it came to writing out the check for the payment we agreed upon. We ended up writing off his balance in hopes of ending this situation."
