I was given a $2,500 estimate. They had a long list of items to repair or replace. They would not let me get my truck unless I signed some type of agreement letting them off the hook if anything bad happened. I refused to sign. I took to another mechanic and work was completed for less than $300. This happened over one year ago and I have had no problems with anything on the truck since. I did not make this review then because I wasn't 100% confident about the repairs.

Called and was able to bring my car in right away. Worked efficiently and broke down every aspect of what and why they were replacing in my card break system.

Buffalo brakes did a wonderful job. Tyrone was very pleasant on the phone. The service was quick and the price was reasonable.

Service was excellent as always. They have always gone above and beyond what we expected and at a reasonable price. They are extremely honest and sometimes will tell you that you don't need a service you brought the car in for. They will give you a minor adjustment instead and sometimes not even charge you.

My last experience was with them replacing a defective strut that they put in with no problems. More worried that I would think bad of them than how much it costs.

They have worked on my vehicles several times in the past. Their work has always been excellent, and they corrected mistakes made by another brake shop on at least one occasion. Of the many auto repair shops I've tried in the area over the last 7 years, Buffalo Brakes has been consistently the most courteous. They have been slightly less expensive than most, and I've had no problems with their work. It has has always been done on time. Overall, I've been very happy and will continue patronizing them in the future.

My daughter went to them to have her front car brakes replaced. After a week, she returned to them complaining it squealed loudly when stopping, so they ground down the brakes saying that would take care of the problem (yes, you read that right, they ground down brand-new brakes!). The problem returned in another week, only she was out of town in college, over 150 miles away. I told her to go to a dealership and have them repaired, and bring back the parts. The dealership said they were bad brakes, so they replaced them. She did not return until 4 months later, and Buffalo Brakes would not refund the money, saying there was nothing wrong with the brakes! So I was out over $225 plus tax with no recourse! I would recommend not only that you don’t ever go there, but also that you tell your friends not to go there. They say they are a Christian business, but sure don’t represent the Christ I know. Don’t fall for the slick commercials; they are a complete waste of money!

On February 24 2008, I took my 2004 Yukon in for a brake job because I could hear a scraping noise when I stop. I was previously told on the phone by Buffalo Breaks that the cost would be $139 per axle. Because I was naturally suspicious I told them that if there were any extra parts or services that I be contacted first. This is because of my previous dealings with other auto repair shops. Imagine my surprise when I was called and told that I only needed repair on my rear axle because my front breaks were still 90% good. I cant believe I have finally found an honest repair shop. I have to say I am very pleased with Buffalo Breaks and highly recommend this honest repair shop.
