American Leak Detection-Augusta

Great job.  Minimum price to detect leak was $450; however, this saved a massive dig.  Our regular Hilton Head plumber was unable to locate the leak and refused to excavate in search of it.  American Leak Detection performed a thorough search, located the leak, and repaired the pipe by removing only one patio stone.  Truly, an amazing job.

     We returned from a trip and turned on the water.  Several hours later, we heard water running in guest bathroom but could not locate water seeping from indoor plumbing.  We called our Hilton Head plumber who looked at the problem and decided he did not want to handle the job.  We found American Leak Detection in the Yellow Pages.  This company advertised that they could locate leaks using electronic leak detection.  First available appointment was May 25.  Cost to come to our house and use of electronic equipment was $450.
     John arrived on time and ready to work.  He was very thorough about checking for a leak inside, outside, and under our house.  Using electronic equipment, he was able to pinpoint that the leak was under one of two patio stones.  John gave an estimate to complete the job.  We agreed to the price and John completed the job in less than an hour.  Actual cost  to excavate to the leak, repair the pipe, and refill the hole was $250 which was less than John originally estimated.
