Eagle Eye Inspections

Seth saved me from a false advertising , turnkey listed property in Ellijay on Walnut Mountain . I was lead to believe the sellers DIY craftsmanship was elite . When the inspection was completed , those falsehoods were exposed . A condemned chimney , suspect roof , electrical work not up to code , & retaining walls were all not up to code and or deteriorating. He exposed 10s of thousands in necessary repairs that weren’t listed on the sellers disclosure . He’s the best in the area & I wouldn’t use anyone else .

Inspection was scheduled and performed on time as promised. The inspection was very thorough and all concerns I had were addressed in a manner easy for me to understand. I even had many follow up questions and all were answered quickly. This is the second time I have used Eagle Eye Inspections and both times I was completely satisfied. I would certainly recommend them to anyone and would not hesitate to use them again.

We're purchasing a home in the Blue Ridge Mountains of northern Georgia & of course need an inspection done to protect our interests. Our realtor recommended Eagle Eye Inspections & said she'd worked with Seth many times & that he has an excellent reputation. Since we're moving from out of state we followed our realtor's suggestion & used Eagle Eye. After the inspection was done, the inspection report was completed quickly & was extremely thorough. After we reviewed the report we had a call with Seth to answer questions we had. He was extremely knowledgeable & shared a lot of info about current building codes & details on what items were "have to do" vs. "nice to do". I've dealt with quite a few home inspection services & consider Seth @ Eagle Eye top notch & recommend him without any reservation.

We definitely recommend Seth at Eagle Eye Inspections, he was punctual, professional, friendly and thorough. We are purchasing a new to us home (but not new), and Seth went through every inch of the house and gave a detailed report with photos later that day. He even went back a few days later to check the roof (as it was covered with snow on the initial visit), and sent pictures of that as well. We are confident in our home purchase thanks to Seth.

Seth was fantastic!! He spent about 4 hours inspecting every inch of the property we intended to buy. I was there that day and he was very gracious with my questions and pointed out many, many things I would have never noticed. At the end he produced a VERY comprehensive report that we will use for months (years) to come to make sure every issue is addressed. TOTALLY money well spent and would hire them again in a heart beat! We did purchase the property and post sale had a lingering issue with the seller. Because of Seth's relationships in the North GA real estate market he was VERY instrumental in helping us resolve our problem. We were very appreciative!

He turned his report around the following day.  He was very thorough and available to explain anything contained in his report.  

The inspection was performed on Tuesday, January 19th. The report was in my email inbox by 4:30 that same afternoon. The report was professionally done and the information and findings were thorough to include pictures to document all findings outside the norm. His statement indicated that I could call with any questions or concerns I might have. I called the next day and left a message for him to call me back. He did indeed call me back that same afternoon and spent an extensive amount of time going over his findings with me and making sure that I was satisfied with his explanations. My last request of him was to supply me his estimate of what the total cost might be to fix/repair all of the findings needing attention. He promised he would do that and get back to me before noon today. His report came back this morning as promised giving me everything I needed to know and to proceed. He welcomed me to Georgia and extended a courtesy that if I needed recommendations for contractors in the future to simply call him and he would let me know who I needed to call. It was more than comforting to be dealing as an absentee client with a contractor who truly had my best interest in mind. This may be an adaptation from an insurance company, but I was in good hands with Eagle Eye Inspections and Seth Hegert.

I could not have asked for a more professional inspection. I am a first time home buyer, and Seth provided an extensive education in my potential home's systems as I accompanied him throughout the interior and exterior of the property. He instantly identified structural issues with the decks surrounding the house, and the fact that the air conditioning system was not functioning, along with numerous lesser issues. And where possible he offered suggestions on what it would take to repair problem areas, both the type of labor and approximate costs. All of the additional information he provided us was worth the inspection fee alone!  Although the inspection confirmed many of our concerns, it was regardless a positive experience because of the professionalism with which it was conducted. Should I require any additional home inspections, I would certainly call on Seth again.

I was looking into log homes. He never charged me anything for the time he spent explaining log homes to me.  He told me what to look for and what to stay away from.  I ended up not purchasing a home, but he provided excellent service.  If you are looking for a log home in this area, this is the guy to use.
