I had a carbon monoxide leak that almost killed me. The night it
happened I slept from 4:00 PM until 7:00 am the next morning. I woke
up drowsy and confused about the day and time. I had been suffering
with headaches and nausea for a few days but thought it was a stomach
bug. On last Monday while my son was at my home I told him how I had
been sleeping a lot and the other symptoms.
I had opened the basement door to let fresh air in and the carbon monoxide alarm
sounded. I called the gas company. They came right away and found
high levels of carbon monoxide in the basement because my water heater
was not vented correctly. They turned off my gas and said to get a
repairman. I had used Marty once before to fix a problem with my
furnace that several repair men could not find the problem. He found it
right away, fixed it and didn't charge my a lot, so I called him for
this. He came right away, found the problem and got right to work. I
told him I didn't have the money right now, but he said he would work
with me.
Marty has done a GREAT job. He is very professional and
very likable. He can be trusted to do the job correctly the first and
will not try to break the bank.

We have done business with Absolute Comfort Heating and Air on several occasions. Marty Grotsky (the owner) did electrical work on my Dad's motor home, and my father recommended him to me.
Recently, we had a problem with our air-conditioning. Our home wasn't being cooled well and our electric bills were high. Marty came and spent quite a bit of time checking out our entire air-conditioning system. He's very technical and has the equipment he needs with him to diagnose the problem - no delays there. He didn't charge us for the time he spent analyzing the problem - he was here between one and two hours. Also, we were talking about allergies and Marty let me know about an electronic filter that eliminates dust and mildew that he could install on our air-conditioner. I am very allergic to dust, so I was eager to take advantage of that! He set up a date with us to work on our air-conditioning which was about a week afterwards. Something that I really appreciate about Marty is that he will give you an exact day and hour - I don't have time to sit around all day waiting on a repairman! When he came, he was very punctual, about 10 to 15 minutes early. He had everything he needed and was finished in roughly 2 hours. Marty is a hard worker and doesn't waste time. Also, he does an excellent job of cleaning-up afterwards. He is honest. He doesn't suggest work or try to sell you products that you don't need. My electric bill is much lower now - maybe 40% - and my bedroom cools down like it should. I can tell that there is less dust in my house. Marty has integrity which is hard to find. His rates are very reasonable. We love doing business with him!

Absolute Comfort Heating and Air is a family owned business. Marty Grotsky was prompt and courteous. He has been in the business for almost 20 years and was able to diagnose and repair a problem that two other "large" HVAC companies could not. He charged a reasonable service call fee and then parts and labor to repair again were reasonable. After spending over $500 to two other companies, Absolute Comfort fixed it correctly for only $274. I would definitely use him again.
