Price was reasonable. The price was reasonable (much better than Atlanta are vets). The vets were all professional and shared information with me well. The best part of the all the visits is that was not a long wait. Was in and out quickly. They also provide a grooming service. I only used it for a bath and nail clip since I have a short haired dogs (1 pug and 2 French bulldogs.

We have always had a great experience at Appalachian animal clinic. We have been there for very serious injuries to check ups and shots. They have always been very professional and caring.They really care about the animals they see on a daily basis. We have 4 dogs and 2 birds and I would not take them anywhere else. My
teenagers love going to the vet with us because every time they go it's
an educational experience. Our vet always makes sure they see something
interesting while there.They always take time to make sure everyone
understands what they are doing and why.

Our primary home is in Tucker, GA and we visit our cabin in Ellijay, GA on the weekends. We had never used a vet in the area until this particular day. We chose the VCA Appalachian Animal Hospital in East Ellijay due to location and reviews we read online. One of our three dogs suffered an injury to the top of the head that morning and we knew she needed stitches (at a minimum). It was not an emergency, but we wanted to get her in with a vet ASAP. VCA allowed us to come in right away, even though the veterinarian was scheduled to go to lunch in 20 minutes.
The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. The veterinarian (Dr. Wibel) worked into her lunch break and was not irritated or rushed with us. Our dog, Abby, was fixed up with staples, given antibiotics and told that she was good to go. We were surprised that the cost was only $131. As we were walking out to the car, my partner and I both agreed that there was no way we would have gotten out of one of our three vet offices in Atlanta for under $300, especially for this treatment. We have now decided to use the VCA in East Ellijay as our primary vet for routine and non-urgent issues for all our dogs. We only use our vet in Tucker, GA when we must.
P.S. Dr. Wibel (our vet that day) was wearing Pabst Blue Ribbon bottle cap earrings that were very cool. I like to call her, Dr. PBR.

I will continue to use them.
