Their service charge is high. Even after seeing that there was no major issue with the kitchen spout they refused to give any discount on the service charge. As a first time customer they wouldn’t even budge to give any type of discount considering they didn’t have to do anything except to tell me to tighten the water spout and leave. Stay away from this company if you can help it.

Several issues occurred. 1. The installation of the shower pan was a disaster. Attempt one, not enough mortar was placed under the acrylic pan and subsequently, the pan flexed. This would have caused the grout and sealant for the tile work to break. They also screwed the pan into studs. The instructions for the pan clearly stated mortar should cover the entire base, and screws were not required. 2. A hole around the drain (basement concrete floor) needed to be filled in to ensure shower pan had a firn base to sit on. This was filled in with sand. This had to be redone with concrete when the first installation of the pan was unsuccessful. 3. Installation of the shower pan a second time was even worse They did not use mortar, instead used some other sort of adhesive. They did not cover the whole base of the pan. After drying for a couple of days the pan immediately started to squeak and flex when walked upon. The pan had to be removed again. I personally purchased mortar and laid the pan successfully. 4. The installation of the shower mixer was also badly done. The shower head was not centered over the show mixer. This had to be moved. In summary, the costs for the job was competitive, but the professionalism and quality of the work were very poor. I asked for a refund but they never returned my call. DO NOT use this company.

Everything went perfectly! I will never search for another plumber as long as Tom Ward Plumbing is available! I've already passed his name around to friends in Duluth and I will continue to refer him as the Best I've hired (of at least 3 in the last few years).

He was able to come to the house promptly to take care of the bathroom installation.  After looking at our patio and the natural gas line, he recommended a deck mount and scheduled an appointment a couple of days later (since he had to pick it up from his office).  Everything was completed on time and within the quoted cost.  I would call him again for future plumbing needs.
