SOUTHERN STYLE DECKING AND FENCING

On May 14, 2025, I requested painting services for my screened porch roof and sides through Angi and received a text message from Southern Style Decking and Fencing. I sent photos. I was quoted a price of $600 and was sent an invoice on May 17, 2025 for the amount of $379.95 to cover the cost of paint, which I paid. The project was scheduled for June 2, 2025 or anytime that week. I had to make a few repairs to the porch and contacted the company and we agreed to reschedule for August 3 or 10. August 10 at 11:00 am was the agreed upon date. On August 10, at 8:41 am, I texted the company to check if we were still on schedule. At 10:54, I received a text that the person was sick and asking if we could change the date until August 16, I sent a text that the date was not convenient for me and I requested to cancel the rservice requestand requested a refund, As of August 19, I have not received a response from the company. at date was not convenient and I requested to cancel the service and for a refund of the deposit. As of August 19, there has been no contact from the company to date.

The company provided me a estimated for the job of $650 and I agreed with that, they showed up late and aid that the price was just for laber and I need to pay for materials, I paid $300 thinking that was for materials and the professinal said that it was for labor, the job was not started, I asked for a refund and they said that they will return just $150 between 5-7 busness days.

Chelsey is great! She communicates from start to finish ensuring work is done the way I liked it. Her contractors pressure washed my deck and stained it for a reasonable price. I love the color she helped me pick and the way she decorated my deck just beautiful!

They were efficient for an older man like me. The came in next day to do work and was in my very tight budget.
