SAV-ON CARPETS

I used them twice. The first time, I went to the showroom and picked out the product, which suited my needs. They gave me a great price. I was totally satisfied with them. This time, I went back to them, and the warehouse was basically empty except for small samples. The person came out to the house and gave me the price, and it was a good deal. Unfortunately, the carpet that came in was not the carpet I was shown. It should've been equal or better quality, and it wasn't. I pointed it out, and they tried to tell me that it was the same carpet. It was obviously not the same carpet or even the same quality of carpet. I had a timeline for the job. I needed the job done within the next few days, and they dragged it out. I had asked that the check for my deposit not be cashed until the carpet came in. They went ahead that very day and cashed my check. I talked to the owner, and he didn't live up to anything he had promised. Three weeks later, I didn't have carpet. The owner turned me over to a pleasant salesperson, and I told her that I wanted my money back in cash, preferably that day. I ended up calling the owner and explained the whole thing. He said that he didn't do business that way, and that he might be able to get the money on the next day. I had already driven up an hour hoping to get the money, and I told him. He became more belligerent, and he raised his voice at me and cursed at me. He said that I was crazy. He was just awful. I called the salesperson, who seemed to be appalled. I did in fact get my money back two days later. I had to drive up again to get it.
