Perez tree service

Trimmed trees on our property did not grow back as we were told. Perez is refusing to come by and remedy this. I have tried calling from two different numbers to work something out but was hung up on and my calls are being ignored. If you respond to me, I will consider changing this review. Otherwise, I will continue to warn others about your terrible customer service.

Prior to connecting with Perez tree service we had 4 other tree companies visit. Perez's was one of the more competitively priced companies and from the start their promptness was excellent which helped influence our decision.

I called Perez tree service on Friday,Victor came out and gave me a bid for removing 3 trees and doing the stump grinding.  the crew showed up on Monday morning promptly at 9am and started working on the removal. and were done by 5pm. we wanted the logs for fire wood so the crew also cut them into 18 inch pieces and placed them exactly where I requested them. The stump removal was on Wednesday and removed all of the stumps.  very professional crew and did an excellent job.

They arrived promptly and got started early in the morning. In less than five hours, they were finished. I could barely tell that the trees had been there. It is also worth noting that we had gotten several quotes for the same work. This was by the far the best price that we got. We were very pleased.

The work was done on 06/11/2014. The bid included tree removal and stump grinding. They knew I was installing sod and
full irrigation on my 3/4 acre lot. The trees were cut down and removed and then they brought in the stump grinder. The
job looked like it was being done well. The grinder leaves huge piles of ground up mulch where the stumps are removed.They
completed their work and I paid them. I did not think I had to dig through the mulch piles to make sure they were completely
ground out. I am assuming a job well done. My irrigation was installed  July 6 and my sod arrived 2 days ago July 17. It's the busy season and it took this long to schedule the job. The sod company began to grade the yard and prepare to lay the sod. To
my shock they informed me that 4 of the 9 stumps were still there, and not even down to ground level. The maple stump did not
look like it had been touched in over half the stump. They were not even close to being down to ground level.
My wife immediately called the company and the man on the phone (we assume was the owner) said it has been 30 days, and
we get complaints like this all the time. He said they would do nothing to make it right. She told him  that she was putting me on the phone and he had already hung up. They had our money, and we were out of luck.
I had $ 7000 worth of sod sitting in the hot sun, and unable to lay it properly. It would not have taken on the stump areas.
I began calling stump grinding companies, and was fortunate to find one that would come out immediately.
The owner came himself in less than an hour and immediately ground out the stumps himself. He saved the day. He was
shocked that I had been charged for stump grinding, and said I should get my money back.
I will definitely be contacting the BBB and am considering small claims. From the owners response I am sure that I'm not
the first person to get taken this way. The tree removal was acceptable, but forcing me to call another company to finish
a job I paid them for was a total scam. Use this company at your own risk.

Went great. They removed 32 pine trees for me at last then half the cost of 3 other quotes.

They were able to come over fairly soon after the completion of another job in our area. They couldn't give us a price over the phone but were happy to give us a free estimate in person. They also brought their stump grinder so that they would be able to do the job immediately if we liked their price estimate. They quoted my wife a price of $200 dollars. I told them $125 or we'd just do it ourselves. They then agreed upon the price. They did a quick and efficient of job and were gone in less than thirty minutes.

COMPANY WAS PROMPT, COURTEOUS, AND REASONABLE IN THEIR PRICING. I ASKED THAT THE CHERRY WOOD BE CUT IN 17'' LOGS AND STACKED. THEY FOLLOWED THESE INSTRUCTIONS WELL. (MOST COMPANIES, TO SAVE WORK, WILL CUT LOGS SO LONG THEY ARE HARD TO SPLIT AND WON'T FIT INTO A STANDARD FIREPLACE.) WORK WAS DONE THE DAY AFTER THE QUOTE AND VERY LITTLE TRACE LEFT THAT ANY WORK HAD BEEN DONE. THEY PROVIDED PROOF OF INSURANCE AND CAUSED ZERO DAMAGE. SON OF THE OWNER SPOKE ENGLISH VERY WELL.
