Memory Fortress

I found the person I worked with at Memory Fortress very helpful. Sending my photos in and getting them back was simple. Sadly, most of the photos had either one red line, or two, down the photos images. It seemed to be a scanner problem. I emailed and asked about the matter, and, with no apology, was told to mail them back at my own expense, and they would redo it. The representative simply agreed that it was likely a scanner problem. I asked about compensation for the 2nd mailing, and was told this would be provided. I sent the photos in a 2nd time, and received them back. About half of the newer scanned images had the red single line or double line (sometime blue or pink) down them. I emailed Memory Fortress back to let them know of my disappointment, and about 3 weeks later, I have not received a reply. I just wrote again to ask for a refund. There was also no offer of compensation for the 2nd mailing. I am very dissatisfied with this company. They don't seem to review their work before sending it, and don't apologize or compensate for problems caused by their scanner.

These guys were awesome. I sent in over 2,000 old photos from my parents and about 15 VHS tapes. The whole process only took a week, I got three flash drives and three DVDs, and they even organized everything digitally just like I organized my box, with folders included. Highly recommend Memory Fortress!
