sewed him up It went fine. I have used this vet for many years and have always found them to be concerned and helpful. Previously my older dog came home all beat up and in terrible shape. They took him in at once and sewed all his tears. also neutered him while he was there. Kept him overnight and he recovered fine for an older dog. Later this same dog swallowed a fish hook and sinker. We took him in, he was exrayed which showed the hook and sinker right there in his stomach and it appeared to be attached to the lining of his stomach. He had to be operated on to remove the hook and sinker. Smalleys took care of him, kept him over night, dismissed him with antibiotics. He is an older dog and very special to us as he was my sons dog. I cannot say enough good things about Smalleys. There are four vets in this group and all of them are excellent, I would not use another vet -- I know these vets will take care of my animal. They also have great office staff and techs.

The visit was awesome! The office staff and the vets are always so friendly and treat every animal like their own. Daisy and Bear absolutely loved the attention. Once we were all checked in and waiting, it didn't take long to be called back. The vet checked Daisy's incision and gave her a once over to be thorough. He deemed her to be fit as a fiddle, and he was able to answer all of my questions about the incision, the healing process, and adjustment time to the new home. He gave Bear a quick once over as well, and congratulated him on being a fine specimen with head scratches and treats before giving him his rabies shot. Both Daisy and Bear enjoyed the attention and the treats, and I felt they were well taken care of. Once the visit was over, I simply paid at the front desk and was on my way.
I've used Smalley's before, and I will continue to use Smalley's for all my vet needs. The quality of the service and the friendliness of the providers is top notch.

Their communication was excellent. They called us every day to update us on our cats' condition. They gave us antibiotics for our other cats so they wouldn't get sick also. They were wonderful.

Overall, I was very impressed with them. My fiance had been using them for years and it was the first time I had been there. Blick was comfortable there and they took very good care of him since he is an older cat.
