Although I had to wait a few weeks, I thought the service offered was very good. The worker came on the day agreed and within the timeframe specified. He was efficient and thorough, and took time to explain a couple things to me. I was pleased with the work done. I would definitely hire this company again.

Matt did a great job. He cleaned the chimney quickly, pointed out details about our chimney and how to keep it in good shape and keep future repair costs down. Kept our living room very clean as well.

Silver lining came to do basic service on my gas logs. I have used this provider numerous times. I have always found them professional, courteous, and helpful.

I called because I could not get my gas logs in my fireplace to come on.  Mr. Decker was prompt, courteous, and took care of my problem efficiently.  I have used this provider before and always have the same results as stated.  My gas logs are now ready for the winter.

I give them the absolute highest rating.  I've been using them for over ten years.  They are better than good.  They have solved problems for me and I think they are spectacular.

They were on time for the first appointment.  The young man that arrived was polite and professional.  He showed me how to remove the glass window in order to light the pilot light.  He also did some light "housecleaning" while he he had the glass removed.  The fireplace worked fine before he left.  In other words, my first impression was a good one.  However, it was also wrong.

The next day the flame went out.  The pilot light was still on but the gas logs would not light.  It was a Sunday so I called them about it that week.  I explained that it was not my position that they had not done their work satisfactorily but that something was definitely not right.  Perhaps, there was another issue that needed attention.  
They were not prompt in returning my phone call.  Finally I rescheduled  a follow up appointment.  They never showed up and they never called to apologize or to reschedule.  I called them repeatedly once or twice a week for about three weeks before I gave up.  I tried to reiterate in my messages that I was not pointing fingers but that I just wanted to get at the bottom of why my fireplace was still not working.  I never heard from them again.

In summary, I don't believe they stand by their work.  They were unprofessional by being a no show for an appointment.  They refused to return phone calls.  They refuse to address any potential issues that remained after their repair.  They came recommended to me but my recommendation is to find someone else.  VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
