We had the siding on five dormers and one gable replaced with Hardie board, the sills repaired/replaced on two windows, and everything painted. I talked to five companies and received quotes from three before selecting Exterior Armor. Exterior Armor’s price was the best of the three. Thomas was the project manager and he was very thorough with checking things out before quoting the job. He was very professional and easy to work with throughout the project. He touched base frequently throughout the scheduling and construction periods to let me know how things were progressing. He was meticulous to double check things along the way and to ensure all the work was done correctly. I was very satisfied with both the price and quality of work and will definitely use Exterior Armor for future work.

It went well even though the door was a little shorter than than expected due to the "manuafuturer". Josh and team went the extra mile to ensure the door was installed and working as expected.

This was an excellent service experience from start to finish. It was easy to schedule and the estimate and analysis of the damage were clear. The crew showed up as scheduled each day and worked steadily to bring the job to a timely conclusion. The clean-up and paint-matching were superb. Hire these guys!

He took a careful examination that solved my big concern. He did the job pretty attentively, although not big issue, but all small issues took him more than 3 hours to fix. Then I asked a one more additional job he also did at good quality.

Josh is top notch. Not only does he know his job, he's a consummate professional who's expanding his knowledge and capabilities. He can do more than roofing, and what he can do there is exceptional because he doesn't just do the point of service job, but takes the whole structure into account. For example, I was talking about doing a metal roof (more expensive) but he talked me out of it because it wouldn't look right in the neighborhood. That's a guy truly concerned about the customer, not his own pocket (but that will work out for him anyway because I'll be using him for all my projects for the next 40 years).

"Although we typically appreciate any criticism, especially when we can use a bad experience to learn and grow from as a company, there are a few claims made we must rebuttal. For the sake of our reputation, for the sake of the community, and any future customers that may make a decision based off this negative review we know to be skewed, we must express our side of the story. We spoke with this customer prior inspection to set up her roof maintenance package. We arrived early and on time. I went inside to inspect the leak as the homeowner stated, then inspected her roof. I came inside after the inspection and showed her the issues with the skylight and informed her that it typically takes us 2-3 days to get back with an estimate. She explained she had the maintenance package and while I was there, preformed this maintenance. Yes, I was only on the roof for maybe 10 minutes as this is all it took to seal all exposed nails/ loose flashing/ ect. We will not stand on a roof or pretend to bang a hammar for "x" amount of time, when we are done, we are finished. Some customers get a bigger bang for their buck and this takes an hour, some don't need the maintenance at all and we inform them of this as to save money and get a refund. You saved money by calling to refund the maintenance package that we preformed as described in the package. You also called "post" inspection ( 1 day after ) and also told me our guy never came in to show you photos. When I explained it was me that you were talking to, you then asked if I preformed the maintenance, to which I replied yes. We sent your estimate on 1-27-16 at exactly 8:42PM. We will also forward our call logs to show that we had communicated with you pre and post inspection. If by chance you missed this email or it ended up in a spam folder, I would have hoped you would have called us, ( the same way we have been communicating ), or 1 of our 4 other methods of contact to ask us about the estimate. We believe a negative review for an outstanding company with only positive feedback is a discredit to the community we are serving for anyone that is having a "real" bad experienced with a less qualified contractor. We only hope this review is reviewed by Angies list and or that the homeowner will change this once they check for their estimate and or realized we did what was paid for/ and also credited back to the homeowner. Our service, our insurance, our material, our time, was all free."

I meant to write the review long time ago, but didn't get around to do it. I did not meet Josh personally, but he kept me posted on the progress of the job and sent me pictures. When the job was complete and ready for inspection, we noticed the contract written up did not quite match up with the work. Not that the job was done poorly, just an oversight when the contract was written. To make up for this, Josh replaced the gutter on the house for me. Josh is a man of integrity and represented the company well. I definitely trust Josh for my future roofing work.

He's a great guy, really friendly and sharp. Knows the roof well, and even though he wants it to be perfect (he is a roof specialist after all) he knows how bad the shingles actually are and around how long they'll still last so he's not out to sell you a whole new roof right away... although I WILL be using him when I do need the roof replaced.

They turned out fine. They did it back in April. As far as that it went out costing, it really was not that much more than what the deal was for. It's totally that was it with the discount it was more or less for everything. Apart from it, they could've have to do with the weather so it took them a little while to actually be able to schedule and come out with the repairs. but when they did come out and did the repairs, they did a good enough job. They patched it but they didn't do any touch up paint underneath on our back porch. They did a good job, but to me, they didn't put that finishing touch. I will use them again in the future.

I purchased a "Big Deal"coupon for a Roof inspection and sealing from J Anderson Construction for $69. This company was not responsive for over a month and when I contacted Angies List it was too late for a refund. They offered to find another vendor and suggested Josh, at Exterior Armor. The good news was that he would do the same work for $39. Unlike J. Anderson, Josh was on top of the situation and came out when asked. I even was running late and he rescheduled on the fly to accomodate my needs. He did a good job and I will definetly contact him again for future work.
