"We accepted a call to come out to look at a Washer on August 31, 2018. Upon inspection of the unit the Technician found that the unit needed an Interface Board and 4 Suspension Rods. On September 4, 2018 all parts were ordered and we were informed that the parts were on a back order until September 20, 2018. At that time the customer was informed that the parts were on a back order and we would keep her updated with the status of the order. On September 17, 2018 customer called to schedule the appointment for the parts to be installed. At that time the customer was informed that we did not have the parts in stock as they were on a back order until September 20, 2018. Customer thought that the parts would be in to the office on the 20th and we informed her that they would not release the parts from the distributor until the 20th at the earliest. We informed the customer that we would contact her as soon as the parts arrived in the office. Parts arrived into the office and customer was scheduled for the September 28, 2018. Upon inspection of the parts we realized that the distributor only sent 1 Suspension Rod instead of the 4 that we had ordered. Customer was notified that we only had 1 Rod instead of the 4 that were ordered. Technician went to customers home to install the Interface Board in an effort to give the customer a running unit. The Technician also delivered a loaner Washing Machine to her the very next day, which we do not usually do. In efforts to make up for the time she had to wait. Customer was still extremely unsatisfied and wanted a refund. Owner agreed to give refund and when the owner went out to the customers home to collect the parts and give the customer a refund she stated that she would still like for her unit to be repaired, and the owner still gave her a full refund. All County Appliance Services located the 3 other Suspension Rods that were needed and the Office Manager drove to the distributor to obtain the Rods and hand delivered them to the customer personally. Technician arrived later on that same day to install the remainder of the parts AT NO COST TO THE CUSTOMER. Technician tested the unit before he departed from the property and unit tested and cycled perfectly. No follow up call were given to All County Appliance Services that the unit was not working. Upon opening Angie's List this morning we viewed the Review from the customer, and we are extremely disheartened by the review after All County Appliance Services went out of our way to make sure her unit was running properly and didn't charge her one single penny. All County Appliance Services has tried every attempt to make the customer happy, but at this point we deem that it is impossible. It is sad with all of the attempts to satisfy her that she would go and leave such a demeaning overall review."
When they came and got their ice maker they left a check for $127.00. I was promised a call from their technician on Feb. 25th to explain the amount of this refund. I never got this call. In their response to my review to you, they are stating that they refunded me $189.95 minus a servie call, even though they state in their response that "no labor or service call was charged" I must assume that they charged a service call to take their ice maker back out.. Since their service calls are $49.95. this still does not add up.
The bottom line is that I paid this company a total of $307.95 to fix a problem that they never fixed, of which they refunded oniy $127.00. They failed to call me back after they promied to do so to explain the refund, and I have had to pay another company to fix the problem.
"This is in response to Member's complaint. All County Appliance Services has been doing work for this customer for awhile at this point. Early this year Member called about a refrigerator leaking and the problem was found to be a faulty fill valve. The fill valve was replaced and tested with no leaks. The part and service call were paid. About a week later a call came in that the unit was doing the same thing. The technician went out to check unit and did not find any leaks. However thetechnician flushed the line and resealed it on the back. Customer called again stating that the unit was leaking however when a technician is at the residence it does not leak. The customer was advised that if the unit started to leak again to lift the arm up on the icemaker and not to turn off water so the technician would be able to see if the ice maker was overfilling or if the valve was defective. At that point it was determined that the ice maker needed to be replaced. Customer was charged $189.95 for the ice maker only.. No labor or service call was charged and customer agreed to have the ice maker replaced and the work was done. Member was not happy and wanted a refund. He was given a refund for the $189.95 minus the Service Call. I am sorry we can't operate for free after all of the service calls we went on and charged Member nothing for. I am sorry that Member took this approach and for the way he thinks. We have bent every way available to satisfy this customer to no avail. I am sorry he feels that the refund he recieved was not good enough. Sincerely, Ron Williams"
