Quality of work was fine. They used appropriate materials and did exactly what we asked them to do. Job finished within the estimated time. Workmen were friendly and professional. They cleaned up after the job. Only issue was responsiveness. After coming out to look at the job to be done, they did not call back with an estimate. At the end of the week we called them and reminded them we were waiting for an estimate which they provided via email the next day. We accepted the estimate as fair. We realized this was a very small job and expected only that they would fit us in to their work schedule, which is what they said. But three times they indicated they would be out to perform the work, (e.g., "we'll be out Wed or Thurs"), but did not show up and left us no messages. The third time they said they would be out over the weekend and when we returned from weekend travel we found that the work had not been done yet. We called them that Monday morning and asked what time we could expect them (we didn't ask if they were planning to come out that day). They gave us a time and showed up that Monday at that time. The work was totally satisfactory and completed in one day as they said it would be, but we felt like we had to "chase" them down to get the estimate and to get them out there to get the work done. It's hard to find someone to do such a small job so we didn't give up on them.

Ryan did a fantastic job. The project was a simple one -- screening in a small porch, no roof or extensions -- but he added some refinement and detail to it that other contractors didn't even think to suggest. He was quick to respond to questions and his prices were more than reasonable. If our house needs any other work, he will surely be the first (and hopefully only) person I need to call.

We had an old "garage"...if you could call it that...which needed to be torn down and we wanted a 2 car garage in its place. Uptown Construction was incredible. Very professional from the estimate stage all the way through the build and final inspection. They were very accommodating to us and our needs and did everything we asked to be done with an extremely professional, and courteous attitude. The build went by without a hitch at all, and we got everything we wanted and at a much better price that we had quoted from other companies.
