Excellent all the way!  Very thorough.  Takes all stress away from me and looks very nice,  I get compliments and I never got compliments  before.

He got rid of all the weeds; and got the grass growing again. It is looking good again.

It was good. I was pleased.

I am more than satisfied.  The cost combined with the friendly, competent and reliable service is just what I needed.  There are no negatives.

I waited to give a review so I could see how the plantings took and hear what others thought of our landscaping. David originally gave us a verbal estimate of approximately $2,000. As he was working, he realized his chain saw was not working, so my husband ended up taking out all the trees. Our mistake was not getting the estimate in writing, and we also did not readjust the verbal estimate. We took David at his word that he would do other work to make up for the trees. He removed ground cover and placed pine straw as agreed on. He planted some azaleas and about 20 pansies. He did plant a couple of tree saplings. At the end of the work week, David told us the bill was over $4,000!!! He said he added azaleas and one of the two trees. It was our foolish mistake not getting any of this in writing. When my husband called David to go over all the work, he started yelling and telling my husband that his wife was crazy and out of line for
being upset that the final bill was double the orginally agreed on price. We did pay him, although we felt like we had been scammed. We never saw David again. He had a punch list of things to do and he took the money and ran.- We never saw him again.  So what was the reaction from our neighbors? The most polite one was "That guy just left in the middle of the job, huh?" The quality of the plantings was Home Depot stuff. Azaleas have died. The pansies looked anemic and ridiculous in front of our home. I would not recommend Spring Landscaping at all.

It took two days to do the work.  He used a lot of weed killer on the weed and ivy.  And on the weeds in the grass, he used a special kind of weed killer.  He did a lot of pruning and getting rid of dead shrubs.  There were many dead shrubs, dead limbs, poison ivy and poison oak that needed to be removed He will come back at two week intervals.

David did it for. He also brought over someone who was certified to cut down two dead trees in my yard for a reasonable cost. He landscaped my entire backyard and laid down 3 pallets of fescue sod and was very detailed on the instructions so it would not turn brown before the summer. I was very pleased with all the work David did. He was always on time and made sure to ask my opinion before doing anything so he knew I was pleased. I have already passed his contact information along to my friends and neighbors who have commented on my yard. I will definitely be hiring David to come back and do routine work on the yard.

David came to see my yard and provided a quote for initial and ongoing lawn maintenance.  I paid him the $150 in advance and on the first visit, David walked on top of my newly planted flowers installed by another landscaper.   David agreed to replace the flowers.  David was also to aerate the front yard, however, when he returned with the machine to do the aerating, he said he was not able to get it onto my front yard because he could lift it over the steps (even though he came and looked at the yard previously). So he stated he would use some kind of shoes to do the aeration instead of the machine.  He never did the any type of aeration even though I paid for it.  On a subsequent visit, he brought with him a miscellaneous man, who was clearly not a landscaper, to do the weed wacking.  When I looked out the back window, I discovered that this man was cutting down all of the herbs that were just planted by another landscaper three weeks before.  David then said he would go buy some more herbs to plant.  I was so disgusted at this point, I told him just not to come back.  I could no longer trust that he would not damage even more landscaping that I had just paid $5,000 to install!  He clearly is not a landscaper, as he claims to be, as demonstrated by the very poor service and yard maintenance he provided.  This was extremely costly to me because he not only did not perform the services that I paid him to do, but he also ruined a significant amount of landscaping that I just had installed.  I would not recommend him for any services.

I am very happy with the work David did
for me. My front yard was filled with weeds and ivy and in desperate need of
some landscaping. I also have a very small backyard area that was completely
overgrown with more weeds, ivy, and all sorts of lawn debris.
When David came out to look at the yard for the
first time we set up a plan. In the backyard I asked that he clear it out
completely. In my heavily shaded front yard we planned to cut back the ivy on
the edges, spray for weeds, clean up the yard of all the debris, create a new
landscape design for a smaller grass area, put out more pine straw, plant some
additional azaleas and take out a small tree. 
I went out and purchased the supplies separately
(plants, pine straw and seed). David arrived as scheduled and did an amazing
job! My backyard is completely cleaned out and looks fantastic. I now have a
nice clean slate to work with back there. My front yard has a nice design and
edge between the newly aerated and seeded lawn, the surrounding pine straw bed
and cut back ivy. He came out two times and both times he made to sure blow off
leaves from my driveway and perimeter of the house. He also edged around
my driveway and around my mailbox. All of his work was exceptional and he went
above and beyond to make it look great. He was also considerate of my budget
and I feel like his prices were very fair. I will definitely use him again for
future lawn services.
$350 for clearing out the front and back
yard (and everything this entailed)
$35 for aerating and seeding the lawn
$75 debris removal fee

It went very well. He did exactly what I needed for my yards.

A+!  Dave and Spring Landscaping were OUTSTANDING.  I called him earlier this week, and he called me back immediately.  We scheduled time, he showed up at the exact appointment hour, and the work they did was wonderful.  He is friendly, knowledgeable, and the best part - he cared.  I really felt like he wanted to make my yard look like one he would be proud of. Treating it like his own went a long way, and he did it all with a smile.
I've set up biweekly maintenance with him because this was such a positive experience.  If you need help, you should call these guys.

I am happy with the work done. My island looks great. He created the design and decided which shrubs would be best around the house. He also explained why he chose the plants he did and seems to have a good deal of knowledge about plants and shrubs. The price was good and they were quick.

He came out first to look at what needed to be done in our yard.  We had a very thorough and detailed discussion about every aspect of the work to be done.  He called a few days before the date to follow-up the appt. time, and he called beforehand the day of to tell me when he would arrive.
The work was done by himself and another man.  They checked with me first to finalize what should be done.  They let me check what they were doing a few times to comment on it, and they let me add more things to what needed done while they were here.
Everything afterwards looked very nice and was done exactly as asked.  They let me pay 1/2 of the total amount since they are coming back in two weeks to finish (the sprayed area has to die before they can finish).  I have no doubt that they will return when we have planned and do a great job with the rest.

We were in the process of completing our fence around the house when the worker (of the fence company) cut our irrigation line with a shovel. We needed somebody quickly to fix the repair and Dave was willing to work us into his already busy schedule.He came immediately, assessed the situation, and helped us stop the leak until he could return to repair the line. He was back the next day to repair the line and advised we not run irrigation for another two days to allow the repair to get a good seal. He returned two days later to test the irrigation system to make sure the repair was a success. While he was here he offered to edge our yard, and I asked him to also trim some shrubs. He did great work, he was very personable, and he never asked for payment until he knew the job was complete. We would absolutely recommend him and we plan to use him again for future landscape services.

I had a medium sized island that was overrun with large junipers. I wanted a cleaner look, so I hired the company to cut down the junipers which were at least 4 feet tall. The owner advised me to hire someone to remove the remaining stumps which I did. They then came back and worked the soil and designed a new look with a crepe myrtle, several shrubs, and surrounding seasonal flowers.

Weeds are dying and none of my other plants were damaged in the process. They are coming back for one more re-do (special they were running)
