This man,Bernard is a scammer!!!Donot let him in your house.He will not do the job properly.Then after he gets your money he dodges your calls.He jacked up my breaker box,put old smoke detectors in my house,some were not even wired.I hope you are reading this beforehand and not after he took your money.

BEWARE!!!!He is a FRAUD!!

This Electrical Company is a fraud and the owner Sam Bernard is a con artist. Please be aware of his lying tongue. He claims he knows your problem and take what is supposed to be a deposit for the job and never do the job. My experience with Sam Electric Copamy I was having problem with my ghost gate and he claimed I needed another controller box. His starting price was higher than the whole gate system cost he then went down to what I could afford. He asked for half to purchase the control box. He text back and said he needed more money he couldn't fine the part for that price. I told him I couldn't pay anymore. If he couldn't get it for the price he quote I would just have to wait til I could afford it. He said OK he understood. I texted him and asked for my deposit back and as of now I still have not gotten a dime from him. I text several times he was going to meet me then he was going to Zelle or cash app the refund. Now he is claiming he charge a service fee and a diagnosis fee and will only be sending me $100 of my refund. None of that was mention on the Angi website and neither is it listed on the invoice I have. Sam Bernard is a liar and a theft and should be place in jail with the key thrown away. I am a single woman living on disability and reading the reviews these are the type he take advantage of. I encourage whoever is reading this and have experienced some kind of dysfunction with this company to file a police report against him.

My mother was having electrical issues and contacted this company to resolve her problem. Over the last few weeks, she was having problems opening her garage door with the garage door opener. I took a look at it and advised her that it was more than her garage door opener. Something was causing her circuit to trip and she needed to contact an electrician. The lights and other items that fed off the electrical circuit were not working as well. I gave her the name of an electrician that was referred to me from a mutual friend but he was not available. In her haste to get the problem corrected, she found Sam's Electric Inc. on the Internet. This was on 9/15/21. The guy arrived within 15 minutes of her calling and supposedly resolved the problem. Her immediate concern was to be able to open the garage door so she could take my dad to his doctor’s appointments but didn’t notice what was done to get the garage door opener to work. She became concerned because the guy refused to give her an invoice detailing what he did, took the removed parts with him despite asking for the parts back, and the only thing that is working is the garage door opener. Nothing else works including the security system. My mom told me about this on 9/17 after her attempts to reach the company fell on death ears. I called them myself three times and asked for Bernard, the guy that worked on the system. The first time the guy answered but when I informed him what the call was about he said he wasn't Bernard. The second time I called him, he said I had the wrong number and they didn't do any electrical work. The third time I called, I pretended to be someone else needing electrical work and he met me within 15 minutes. When he arrived, I advised him I didn't need electrical work and this was the only way I could get him to respond to my calls. I told him the lady he took money from was my elderly mother and her problem was not fixed. He agreed to come look at the problem but as I expected, he later backed out. Essentially his solution was to put duct tape over one light switch and cut the power to the alarm system so the circuit for that portion of the house didn't trip anymore. I manage rental properties and never had an electrical fix that involved duct tape. My mother wrote a check to this person for $780 in which she was unable to stop payment on. I've attached a picture of the guy's solution to the problem. It's a picture of the duct tape he put over the light switch and the disconnected ADT security system. Do not hire this unethical company. They shouldn't even be listed on Angi's list.

Work was shoddy. Materials were used or not within code. Work had to be completely redone. I would not recommend this provider.

HORRIBLE!  Absolutely horrible, I don't know how this guy can be allowed to have a license as an Electrical contractor.  He is a thief and a liar.  All Buyers Beware of this con artist.  When he came to my home he said that the main breaker and several smaller breakers needed replacing and said he needed to be paid in cash.  I told him I would have to go to the ATM around the corner.  When I returned 10 minutes later, he said that he just happened to have all the needed parts in his Van.  He then showed me a switch and said this was the main breaker switch he had replaced.  I knew this wasn't my breaker switch because it did not have the 150 written in white letters on the side as mine had.  I told him that the switch he was showing me wasn;t my breaker swith.  He lied and said it was inside and you couldn't see it...  He assured me everything was fixed and took the cash payment.  Not less than 2 days later, I am experiencing the same problem I called him for that he said was fixed.  He then said he needed to go buy the real Main Breaker switch but he couldn't find one.  So I call the electrical supply house and gave him the part number and where to pick it up.  He shows up 4 days later with a used breaker switch and says he needs anohter $240 to get a permit to do the electrical work.  I paid him an additional $160 in cash on top of the $585 cash he had already received.  He lied and said he had gotten the permit.  To this day, July 14, 2015, no permit and he still hasn't returned the money for it.  This guy is a crook and a con artist.
