Russ and his team are craft builders.  They are primarily intown builders and are used to working in tight spaces. We have been very pleased with the quality of their work.  They were creative in offering solutions to problems and were responsive to us when we had questions or expressed concerns.  Russ is very hands on;  he doesn't just drop a crew off.   Each member of his team is very skilled and completely professional.  We're very proud of the final product and  enthusiastically recommend Russell Carnes and Earth Sky Builders without any reservation.

The estimate was fair compared to others we received.  Russ arrived when he said he would and did an excellent job of rebuilding the deck, bringing it up to current code.  He even used a technique to keep from damaging an adjacent large tree which reminds me of a cantilever.  The support is in the center of the underside of the deck instead of at the four corners.  The contracted concrete work was done impeccably, blending with the surrounding concrete and encircling the tree leaving a larger space around the tree for dirt.  Russ is honest, personable and a pleasure to work with.

It could not have gone better. Russell was very professional. He did a great job communicating to me all of the issues with the job. He explained the process in great detail so there were no suprises. He was very thorough during the job pointing out things he noticed and thought needed attention. Hs is also the kind of person you feel very comfortable with working on you house. He finished on time and for the amount he had quoted.
