While I was gone, my neighbors hired her to remove trees from their property, and she used my property to chip their trees up and spread them on my back yard. I came home to a SEA of debris in my back yard, and two giant piles of my neighbor's trees in the front yard, driveway and the street. She illegally dumped debris in the street that the county tried to fine me for, until I told them the situation. Donnie does not return phone calls, period. I had to threaten her with a youtube video to get her to semi-finish the job. They finally removed enough debris to avoid a county fine, but I was still left with a debris field in my front yard and driveway. Needless to say, the stumps are not ground. For three weeks she has been telling me they will get to it this week.
This was the email that finally caught her attention:
Hey tree lady. Why won't you return my call? You have severely misunderstood friendliness as weakness. I know I come across as a really nice guy and a pushover, however, what you don't know is that when pushed to my limit I am tenacious. You've pushed past that limit. I suggest that you have a crew come here and finish what you agreed to do or you will face internet disaster. Being the nice guy that I am, I would hate to see a honest, hard working woman google bombed out of business.
Your crew left a stump mess in my backyard.
You cashed the checks. Do what you agreed to do to include:
Grinding of the four stumps in the backyard which we agreed upon and their debris removal
Removal of all debris from the backyard except in the immediate area around the deck, upon which we agreed
Removal of the debris in the back yard that came from my neighbors trees that I did not agree to
Removal of all debris from the front yard that you illegally dumped in the street
Upon completion of the above, we will have no further worries. My neighbors have informed me that local news channels are very interested in these kind of stories, unfortunately it would not present Don's Tree Service in the most favorable light. Also, I've been informed that TLC is very concerned about the integrity of their advertisers.
I did not give you consent to use my property as access to remove a tree from a neighbors property.
I did not give you consent to spread the remnants of the neighbors trees on my property.
I do look forward to your completion of the tasks which we agreed upon. However, if they are not completed, "Don's Tree Service Review" premiers on youtube Tuesday, June 11th, 6pm EST.
She did have someone show up at 4pm on the 11th and removed most of the debris from the front yard and driveway, however, I still had a debris field in the back yard, front yard and driveway that could not possibly have been raked away. Finally, she had a guy come with a bobcat and remove the rest of the debris from the front yard and driveway, but I sill have a sea of mulch in my backyard that I am getting used to. Also, I still have four large stumps in the backyard that have not been ground. She claims now that she is sending me a refund for the stump removal as "she is tired of dealing with me".
