I am very disappointed. I have used him to replace my filter for my unit twice before and everything has went fine. He came out on 6/21/23 because I change out every 6months or so. Over the phone he asked if I knew the size and I said no, he had been here before. He came out, changed filter and left charging me $85. On 6/30/23 my unit stopped cooling and shut off! It was 90 degree weather. I called him to inquire about it(to give him a chance to come out to look) he states he saw nothing wrong when he was out and stated it would be $250 for him to come back out. I have a warranty on my system so I let him know I would be calling them(hoping he would think and come back and do the right thing) I called and a tech came out today on 7/3/23 and I had to pay $85 AGAIN. The issue was, Salim put in the wrong filter that was huge! He shoved it in there and it was all crumpled up. Once it was replaced, my air flowed! I called him and he began to raise his voice and basically tell me they ALWAYS cut the filters to size and it does not matter which is incorrect. Problem is, he did not even cut mine to size, he just shoved it in! If I could attach pics I would. He also left all the dirty filters he had changed before in my basement and my trash can sits on his path to his truck. He began ranting about the tech that came out lied(he had no reason to lie, he was getting his $85 service call regardless)He refused to take ownership and was very rude. I was able to QUICKLY look on Google and the info was there plain as day about the effects of improper placement of filters! It is sad as a small business owner you treat customers this way. If he could not do the job just say so, but potentially ruining someones costly unit over $85 is unacceptable. He has lost my business. And people will start to take heed and he will lose more business. Right is right and wrong is wrong. He refused to refund my money and I even would of settled for half and he just stopped responding. Bad business.

Replaced inducer motor, replaced thermostat, changed air filter and serviced HVAC system. Not only did he arrive on time, he was actually 2.5 hours early. I didn't mind. iI was home. He did a great job. The work was certainly of high quality; very professional.

Salem Installed the wrong size capacitor on my blower motor. My condenser is freezing over now. I called told him the problem that I am having, he said the capacitor size could not cause the issue. I sent him an article showing that it was an issue and told him that it damaged my blower motor and that was why my condenser was freezing over. He refused to make it right. Salim did not stand behind his work, he had no interest in making it right, even though this was a cut and dry mistake that he had made, either by accident or intentionally or through lack of knowledge of the detriment of using the wrong capacitor. He was very rude and told me never to call him again. Not professional. When you are in the service business, you need to stand behind your work. Thank god for these kinds of review sites so people can hold contractors accountable.

I am a real estate investor. I called Salim with Assured 1st. Heating and Air. Everything at first seemed great, Salim was responsive and professional. He explained to me what needed to be done as he took over early from another contractor that could not perform.Here is the work that was done per my receipt February 2019.1 Return plenum Attached return plenum, cut holes for return, attached collars set return boxes and attached duck, ran lines ran low voltage wires, braised line set, attached drain line, attached aquaguard, cap off drain pan, set condenser, installed cage and Lock, installed thermostat, evacuated and charged system. Salim would return in April 2019 to charge check the system when the power was on. Total work cost = $2275.As the seller I called for a home inspection before putting house on the market and was informed the plenum was not sealed correctly and the system was not lowering house temp properly. I called Salim he came back saying he would top off the unit for cooling purposes. Fast forward to August 2019 and, have got a contract in the house. The buyers send out a home inspector and his report says the exact same thing, the house temperature is not cooling correctly and the plenum has many leaks in the joints. I have to get this corrected and then reschedule for re-inspection which cost $250 because we failed the first. By the way, our closing is within two days.I called Salim, explained to him his work did not pass the buyers hm. Inspection and the two days we had left to correct it. Salim immediately starts talking about more cost and he would try to work me in and to allow him to call me back. I could not afford to wait on him being unsure if he could even get to me. Fast forward I hired another contractor who did not complete it correctly either. The unit failed the re-inspection and in order to close the deal I had to honor a pre-quote by RS Andrews from the buyers of $1350 The unit was installed by Salim/ Assured 1st Heating and Air and it failed 3 inspections. Costing me extra money, frustration and almost my buyers. Beware.

Salim and his team installed a brand new A/C unit in my home at a great price and exceptional work. very pleased during the quick process and end results of my new unit. i will be a returning customer

I found them on Home Advisor late Monday night and early Monday morning a staff member called me and was at my house by 11am and the issue was fixed by 12noon.

Answered call promptly and came to my house when he said he would was knowledgeable and helpful.
