Great job, went exactly as planned, great care taken to do it right. He also took his time planning appropriately, ordered in specialty materials, and carefully put everything back where it was supposed to be. Have a tougher challenge for him with some random width oak repairs and refinishing--will not hesitate to call him! Ben Suer is passionate about woods and construction practices, a rarity in itself, and it really shows in his work!

Ben and his assistant did a fantastic job on our 2 bedroom floors. Looking forward to having the rest of the house completed.

I had 3 company quotes. Two submitted samples. Ben was not the cheapest, but we determined the final product was well worth the price. We reviewed two other jobs Ben had completed and both were ecstatic with the results. Ben researched to recommend the finish we desired and did four test samples before starting. My only compliant is that I wished I could have found him easier on the web. We are so pleased with his teams performance throughout the process. The flooring looks better than new. Excellent. They offered options on finishes, helped us with color choices, actually developed a custom color for us, and offered options on vents and power receptacle's. They are extremely detail oriented and very hard workers. Could not be happier with the final results.

I purchased a home built in 1936 in an old section of downtown Augusta, Ga.  The restoration of this house included having the wood floors refinished. I was referred to Ben Suer of Diamond Wood Floors by a neighbor who had used them previously. I contacted Ben and he came out the following day to look at the job.  He arrived on time, looked at the work that needed to be done and gave me a quote which I found to be competitive and acceptable.  We also agreed on a date when he would start the job. The job was started on the day we agreed on and was completed in a timely manner. All of my phone calls to Ben were either answered or returned almost immediately.
The floors in the house were made of tongue and groove heart pine which were originally stained with a very dark stain. Over the years the stained floors had been painted numerous times creating 3 or 4 layers of different finishes which needed to be removed. Restoring these floors meant sanding through all layers of paint and stain to reach the beautiful wood hidden beneath. When the sanding process was complete three coats of polyurethane finish were applied resulting in beautiful antique floors with a very rich luster to them. I couldn't be more pleased with the way the floors turned out as they exceeded my expectations.
