My side by side 33 year old refrigerator was freezing everything on the cold side. I called BrIan in a panic on a Saturday morning because he has repaired several of my older model appliances. He came right out and checked it out and replaced the thermostat very quickly and at a very reasonable price even though he was not on call. He is on my BEST list as well as Angie's list. I have called "Pate" a number of times in recent years. He is in high demand due to reputation re: performance and price, so one time I decided I needed washer fixed that day instead of waiting a day for him. It was an expensive couple of laundry loads, as Price was approx twice with another highly recommended company I called. He is fast, all business and informative.

Repair was done correctly but invoice was issued incorrectly

"Respectfully disagree with the rating above. We gave him fast, reliable, quality service on his repair; however, there was a phone conversation that angered him. We mistakenly wrote down his street # incorrectly by one digit & the customer called to request a new invoice. We asked if we could change the digit & initial the change; however, this angered the customer & the conversation turned bad. I even offered to talk to his landlord to help with reimbursement but he refused. We were taken back by his rudeness & aggressiveness;however, he is the customer and we should have complied without question since that's what he wanted. We did rewrite the invoice within 15 minutes of the conversation and it was emailed to him immediately along with an apology. Despite this, he has continued to give us bad reviews & is on a mission to hurt a small, family owned business."

Great!!!!! Brian was very patient while we played phone tag. Finally was able to take a day off and get it fixed. Will definitely recommend and use again. Fantastic company!!!

Brian was able to get here a couple of days after I called. He replaced the heating element assembly and also replaced venting that had been bent and broken, probably when the unit had been installed. He suspected that this problem with the venting had contributed to the heating assembly breakdown, so took care to install it correctly this time. He had to work in a very small area, but somehow he managed! I was very pleased with his professionalism and efficiency and would definitely call him again.

I called Pate's on a Thursday at 10:30 to fix my dryer that had quick heating and they had it fixed at 12:20 on the same day! They also repaired a rack in my dishwasher that had come loose. They were very quick and dependable. I will definitely use them in the future.

We called Pate's on Tues. requesting a service call. Brian was out to our home within 1 1/2 hrs, diagnosed both problems. Parts had to be ordered and it would take a couple of days. On Thurs. he called to say that the parts were in and that he could come right away. He was here within the hour, replaced the icemaker and the garbage disposal in a timely manner. Brian was courteous, knowledgeable, explaining everything to us and efficient. The job was finished within 2 hrs. We very highly recommend Brian and Pate's Appliance Repair.

Called about refrigerator on a Friday, they ordered the part on the spot and said it would be in on Mon/Tues...they came over Tuesday, fixed the damper issue and discovered blown motherboard, showed and explained everything...grabbed the part from the truck and replaced the board and that was it....Really refreshing when a service person delivers as promised with no up-charging due to new discovers. Excellent work!

Came within minutes of calling. Diagnosed problem in seconds. Did not have the replacement part in his truck, but met his wife halfway to Dallas and returned within 20 minutes. Finished the job in another 15. Excellent service, very professional, will definitely call again when needed!

We have a built-in oven/microwave combo. The door on the microwave (which opens downward, like an oven door) broke and would heavily just fall down when opened. I called Pate's and Brian came out the next day. After dismantleing the door, he discovered the part that was broken and called into his office to have them order it. He was back out the next day with the part and had it fixed pronto.

They are great. He went out of his way to help me one day when my freezer was not working. First, he said he would not be able to come the next day, but then he said he was coming near me and so would stop in. I thought that was great. He charged me 40 bucks for that. Then, I had to come back later and repair two pieces. He is on time, reliable, seems to really know his business, and is reasonably priced.

Brian was very polite and professional in his demeanor. After he gave me the quote, he told me to look around to see if i wanted to buy something new and he also gave me the parts number. After a few days i decided to have my old washer repaired,so the part was ordered and day and time for repair set up. Brian arrived on time, fixed the washer in less than a hour and in addition replace some other things on the machine that were needed with no extra charge. He showed me the crack in the washer tub that was causing the water to leak out the bottom. All in all i doing laundry within 11/2 hrs of him fixing the problem. I was very pleased with the service.

My husband and I came home from vacation to find my dryer would not turn on; nothing lit up on the panel! I was ticked because we had out of town company coming in and I had vacation clothes plus linens to take care of before they came. Brian came the next day, went himself to pick up the part instead of ordering it and was here the next day. Dryer worked 'til 5 minutes after he left. I called right away and he came back, found we needed that panel replaced, and came back on a Saturday (his day off), fixed it, didn't charge me except for the part and it has worked perfectly since then!! Will call him again most definitely. Plus, no one else on your list would come to where we live...and I called most that applied to us! Pate's Service came even though we weren't in their area either, but he came. That's customer service!!

The nice thing about them is that I called and they came the same day to get the job done. That was a big help to me. They are very reliable and I also like that they are a local company. The guys did a great job and were done quickly.
