James Paints

I had a great experience using James Paints to remove my large, multi-tiered 1st- generation TREX deck boards/steps and replace it with new TREX products. Chip & his crew were very professional, timely, easy to work with & hardworking. Despite many challenges, they stayed focused on the details & security of the deck, provided quality craftmanship & still were able to adhere to the affordable quoted labor price. The deck turned out beautiful! It is great to have a contractor I can trust for all my home repair & painting needs. I am not alone in feeling this way. He has earned this reputation with many of my Burnt Hickory Lakes neighbors. Try them. You won't be disappointed!

He was very reasonable and did a good job. The cleanup was very good. He also did some work for my sister and mother in law. It was usually just 2 people out doing the job. He was recommended to me from my father.

He arrived late and never called to say he was running late. He dried rolled the walls which leaves marks where the end of the roller leaves off. When I did not approve of his painting, he argued with me that he could not help it that the walls could not take the paint. I pointed out that it was due to not enough paint on the roller(dry rolling) which he was very surprised I knew the technique term. He kept going out side to make phone calls  during the painting process and left the job to his partner which didn't know how to paint. He kept saying that he had been in business for over 15 years and I didn't know what I was asking for or how it was done. I asked him to come again and redo what he had messed up and he said he would but, never returned my phone calls.

Very good service. He showed up when he said he would and did a good job.

I would not recommend this company at all even if you had to paint a dog house. They are sloppy and unprofessional in their work and in their behavior.
