"This is strictly nothing more than childish pettiness, a personal incident took place regarding a neighborhood disagreement. She loved the work, we walked the job with her and she said it was magnificent. She paid in full which was NOT $1800.00 it was less. And came back three days later to hire our "unprofessional company" for more work on her home. A person driving by while we were panting the exterior also stopped in after seeing the work to get a quote. Notice how the pictures are all close up pictures, none of the whole room or the house as a whole because it looks great! She was a friend and a neighbor so my guys were a little more slack than I wanted. She was questioned as to whether or not the fire would be a problem to which she replied "no it's cold outside and she didn't mind." Many days later when I found out about the dog lead I offered to replace it with one that I have to which they declined. After our falling out they decided the job was unsatisfactory so still trying to be professional I told her to make a detailed list of the trouble. They decided they wanted everything redone, which I decided no matter what we did for them at that point it wouldn't matter she was upset with me personally and would continue to have issues. We did free work for them because they were our friends, we removed painted and replaced lattace that was damaged and broken at no charge. This harassment and slander has been going on since Feb. She contacted the Better Business Bureau also last month. After hearing the whole story they administratively closed the case because they found that we did everything we could to make these people happy and it wasn't possible. They were given a discount, and had free work done. I told them take the discount and the free labor and apply that to having someone come put the outlet covers back on, and whatever touch-up paint they needed. The basement had paneling which had to be Kilzed twice and then painted. She was charged $200 for this. And $1200.00 for pressure washing, caulking, and paint of the exterior of her house. I would've and didn't have any problem doing touch-up paint, until we started personally being threatened by this person. I could not and would not risk my guys safety for childishness. As I said before my family and my company have been dealing with this ridiculous behavior since Feb. We have even put a privacy fence around our property to stop some of this ignorance. They have put a bench right next to my fence and literally stand on it to look over into my yard it's unbelievable! We had survey stakes put in so that we could put our fence one foot off our property line, (when the regulation in our area states that it can be right on the line if we wanted) we put it a foot back to keep anything from happening. She truely broke the stakes, cut the line, pulled the stakes out of the ground, and threw them over our fence. I believe I have been cordial through all of this but I don't believe these type of people will understand ignoring someone means leave them alone, they continue to harass my family and slander my company. I will be pressing charges for the harassment and slander. I do have many many many customers, and companies who will speak very highly of my company and have nothing but good things to say in fact everyone we have ever done business for aside from this one and we have been in business for years. I can not put names of my companies or customers on here because she will see it and is the type to harass them also.
