1st Choice Plumbing

Josh showed up, was incorrect about what needed to be done. My wife called me and I talked to Josh. He blamed the dispatcher for not being clear, I talked with him while he was in our basement, he then understood what needed to be done. As per my wife's report when I got home, he did NOT do more than 2 hours worth of actual work, spent less than $30 in parts and charged us $729 on invoice#15862, when I found out about it I was annoyed. I've been a successful self employed Handyman since 2002, and I couldn't do this myself because of my packed work schedule (I am Keath Your Handyman, see my reviews here on Angi.) Had I done this same job for a client I would have charged $400. Josh also left a pair of channelocks (right angle pliers with jaws) right on top of an antique table in the room (close to where he was working) that we are planning to sell, the table was not damaged but that's not the point. Not happy overall, and I admit that I have high standards....

Not an easy job at my house!  I am renovating a 48 year old house and my biggest challenge were my bathrooms.  The cast iron tubs were small and dirty and the plumbing old and some leaking.  Hired Heath Furr to install and upgrade all necessary plumbing for these two baths. I worked with Heath over a three month period as his skills were required at three intervals over the course of the renovation. The end result is two fabulous bathrooms, with top quality fixtures and plumbing.  I added a soaking tub in the main bath and replaced the tub with a shower complete with four options of spray including rain and body sprays.  The end result is better than expected.  I found Health to be professional, pleasant and most of all highly skilled.  It is sometimes hard to get on his schedule as he is very busy but the wait is worth it!

It was Easter Sunday, and we discovered that a pipe servicing an outside spigot had not survived the winter. (It was a weird incident involving a pressure washer and some lithium grease. We had water pouring out of the ceiling.) First Choice plumbing wasted no time coming to the rescue. Two gentlemen 1st within the promised time, diagnosed and repaired the broken pipe. Pricing was explained up front. They were quick, courteous, and professional. They even checked the other exposed fixture before they left. I wouldn't hesitate to call on them again.

Heath came at the end of a long day. The office kept me informed of when I could expect him as another job had delayed him. Even though my job was going to take three hours, he still stayed to finish and took pains to make sure the wall and ceiling destruction would be in areas that would be covered by the new cabinets. Everything was installed with great care and precision.He even cleaned out the filter on my kitchen faucet when he noticed it wasn't running well. I couldn't be happier with the courtesy and accomodation that was given to me.

I could not be happier with the experience.
