THE BUILDING INSPECTOR WOULD NOT APPROVE THE WORK AND/OR ISSUE A SATISFACTORY PERMIT. THIS STILL STANDS TODAY. CONTRACTOR REFUSED TO RETURN TO CLOSE ALL 2 FT X 2 FT HOLES IN DRYWALL WHICH HE CUT FOR ACCESS TO THE PLUMBING. HE ALSO REFUSED TO PAINT AND FINISH AS WAS DESCRIBED IN WORK ORDER. HE ALSO REFUSED TO INSULATE PIPE IN ATTIC PROPERLY. HE DOES NOT RETURN CALLS. WORK WAS STARTED ON 6-16-05. CLEANUP WAS NOT PART OF HIS VOCABULARY. HE LEFT US WITH A DISASTER. DO NOT EVER PAY A CONTRACTOR IN ADVANCE. ONCE THE MONEY IS SPENT THEY HAVE NO INCENTIVE TO RETURN. HE SAID HE WOULD RETURN THIS FALL WHEN THE WEATHER COOLS OFF TO INSULATE THE ATTIC PIPES. THAT'S UNLIKELY, AND I MIGHT ADD, UNREASONABLE AS HE HAS ALREADY REFUSED TO FINISH THE CLOSE UP AND PAINT. WE CAN'T BELIEVE A WORD HE SAYS. DISHONEST, UNPROFESSIONAL, A THIEF AND DEFINITELY NOT A PLUMBER.
