The 2 star overall listing is too high. I had these people out at start of season to find a leak and replace a hayward salt cell. Paid a $125 plus trip charge. Couldn't find the leak, and did not install the flow meter on the new cell. I had the little part but they did not even check flow on control panel to see if it was needed. I talked to the two before they left after just over an hour and they said they had completed the install and could not find the leak. Hours later I saw the low flow indicator and called. A rude female told me I would be charged a trip charge for them to come out and finish the job by installing the part they did not ask me about. She adamantly insisted that the same model from them did not come with a flow switch and since I did not inform them, that failure to complete the job was somehow my fault. Asked to talk to owner and never heard a word. Well to make a long story short, I found on the internet how to replace the switch. And, after several attempts at valve adjustment, found the leak. NOW THESE PEOPLE KEEP BILLING ME FOR 30+ BUCKS FOR A JOB LEFT UNFINISHED AND THREATEN COLLECTION!!!! We all know that for thirty bucks it will not hurt a customer with excellent credit. The cost for them will be more than they could collect, plus they have mailed 3 or 4 letters so they are in the hole already. As Mrs. Gump said "Stupid is as Stupid does. Mickey Massey

When we purchased a foreclosure as our primary home, it came with an older, in-ground pool that had been neglected. The pool needed a new liner, but due to the way the pool was originally constructed, the coping had been back-filled with concrete and was a part of the pool wall. We would need to have the concrete cut away, new coping installed, new liner, new bottom drain (to bring it up to code) and chemicals. Additionally, we added stone, steps and adjusted the pool depth to better fit our family. Not a project for an inexperienced company.
We obtained several quotes (even one that suggested we fill it in) and chose Dacula Pools primarily because of their years of experience (which repeatedly came in very handy!) and the fact that they are a local business. We also felt that they had the most thorough quote (although not the least expensive one) and operate year round. Everyone from the crew to the owner were friendly, easy to work with, and very knowledgable.
Ours was a 2 month project during the busiest time of year for pool companies (May to July) and they pulled it off marvelously. We continue to be Dacula Pool customers.

They were very friendly, professional, and paid attention to details. They answered all my questions. They were nice people.

I contacted them to hook up a solar heater and to open pool for the summer. The first date that was set up was not good timing, so a quick call and they were happy to come at a better date and time. First time they came out in the afternoon and put together the system, along with hooking up my pump and filter with hard lines(pvc). It was too cold for the solar heater to unroll adequately, so they proceed to clean the pool. The 2nd time (after instructing us to raise the water level) they unrolled the solar heater and hooked everything together. Tested the system, added chemicals , and showed me how to operate the system. The 3rd time they netted the pool ( getting a shingle out from my neighbors roof[ FROM THE HIGH WINDS THE NIGHT BEFORE]) added some more chemicals and instructed us to call if there was anything else that need to be done and if the pool wasn't blue in a short time.

I could not have been any more pleased with the work that they did on my pool. They were extremely nice, and they showed up within hours of my calling their office. They worked very fast to get this new liner installed, and the price was very reasonable and affordable.
