Sweetwater Irrigation and Outdoor Lighting

They were really professional.  I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted, but they asked enough questions to know what I wanted it to look like and they were able to install lighting that gave me the exact effect that I wanted.  They were great.

Steve and crew showed up when promised and did a great job repairing a break at poly connection.  This was caused by a subcontractor for ATT in new cable installation for the subdivision.  They provided me with a written description of the break and cause and photos allowing me to recover major water expense, which is way beyond the service I expected.  This was my second experience with Sweetwater and both were excellent.  Pricing was very reasonable.

Everything went great from the initial phone call through the paying of the bill. They showed up when they said they would. I paid less that I thought I would need to. They explained what the problem was. Overall this was a very good experience. We will use these guys again.

The guys from sweetwater came out exactly when they said they would. I showed them the problems and they began work right away. I was pleasantly surprised that they didn't charge more than they did. It took them over two hours to do everything, plus they took time to show me how to adjust the sprinkler heads myself. A very professional company!

Steve was absolutely wonderful.  Was prompt in showing up, called with any problems, very service oriented. Billed me later.  Would highly recommend them!

We have been in our home for a little over two years.  The irrigation system has never worked.  The control panel did not even turn on.  It has been on our list of things to do- and I finally looked out the control panel and contacted the Rain Bird and they sent me a list of local contractors.  I looked them all up on Angie's list and the only one on here was Sweetwater- and luckily they had great reviews. Steve and his assistant came out to our house and to our pleasant surprise we saw our sprinklers work for the first time.  He took my husband and I all over our property pointing out all of the sprinkler heads and we agreed on which ones we wanted to keep active and which ones we wanted to cap.  Steve installed a new control panel and showed us how to use it.  He was very friendly and helpful.  I wished we had called them sooner- but I am glad to check this off the list.  I would definitely recommend them and will call them in the future if we need to.

I liked them because they did what they said. They were the first irrigation company that I hired that actually followed through. The have great pricing as well. I will be using them in the future. 

After the problem with the other irrigation and plumbing companies, I tried to find a way to stop the leak sprinkler head in my yard.  All I could do was to turn the main water supply for the system ON when I wanted to use it and OFF after the cycles had run.  I would not always remember to turn it OFF so I wasted water and money.  I checked out Angie's List and found Sweetwater Irrigation in the Cumming, GA area.  In the meantime, I asked a friend of mine who'd been in construction years before if there were anyone he'd recommend.  He recommended Sweetwater about the time I found the company on Angie's List.  I called them and left a message.  They got back to me within a few hours.  Robert came out to assess the problem the next day and he was finished in about an hour.  The cost was reasonable, his attitude was professional, and compared to the others he stood head and shoulders above them with respect to integrity and proficiency. 

I can't say enough wonderful things about Sweetwater Irrigation. However, I have to give some background first in order to explain why they were so good. In early 2008, we hired a "not-to-be-named" company to repair a large sprinkler system in a home we just purchased. The system had been neglected for a number of years. The "not-to-be-named" company charged us $2020 to replace a few heads, install a rain monitor, and identify the zones. However, they could NEVER find Zone 8. When the outdoor water ban was lifted a few months ago, Sweetwater Irrigation was highly recommended to us by a neighbor. So, we gave them a shot. Steve from Sweetwater came out and identified ALL the zones within an hour, including Zone 8. That pesky Zone 8 wasn't even in our yard. (Long story about how that happened.) One would have thought that the other company could have figured that out since they had 4 people roaming around trying to find it. Steve found it all by himself. He also identified everything that needed repair and scheduled to come back the next day with a helper. I didn't even ask him for an estimate. He arrived the next day bright and early with his helper and they were beyond efficient. All the work was performed just as we discussed. They cleaned up after themselves and you couldn't tell they'd done anything until you turned on the system and it worked perfectly. No tell-tale holes in the yard from repair, no debris; just perfectly functioning irrigation. It was almost like magic. A week later I received the bill and it was only $380. I was shocked at how reasonable they priced everything because there were many broken heads, a pipe that had to be completely dug up to repair plus the capping off of Zone 8 to keep us from watering our neighbor's yard. I was truly amazed at the price. Don't bother calling anyone else. Start with Sweetwater and you'll be happy.

THE PRICE IS AVERAGE. THEY AREN'T VERY RESPONSIVE IN ANSWERING CALLS AND ARE SLOW TO SCHEDULE REPAIRS, BUT THE QUALITY OF WORK IS EXCELLENT.

WE PLAN ON USING THEM AGAIN IN THE SPRING TO INSTALL A SYSTEM IN OUR BACK YARD.
