Jim was awesome.  Our realtor provided a short list of lenders they suggested we talk to, and I spoke with all of them.  I'd have been happy with any of the people on the list.  In fact, everyone seemed so competent that it was a hard choice, but Jim asked all the right questions and mentioned that he followed the guidelines of Clark Howard - and my husband and I have read Clark's book on buying homes, so that reassured me about the process.  The mortgage brokering process seemed -- from the outside -- incredibly complicated, but Jim made everything look easy and simple.  He walked us through every step of the process, was ALWAYS available for questions and got our loan approved in record time!  We closed over a week earlier than he thought would be the fastest on record, and we were thrilled!  He was at the closing with us, which was, again, very reassuring.  I can't praise Jim enough, and I highly recommend him!
