Steven did a great job drawing comprehensive plans for our two level basement finishing.  From initial contact to completion, Steven was always prompt, responsive, professional, and easy to communicate with.  We had a pretty clear direction from a layout and finishes standpoint that we wanted to go in prior to contact, and Steven was able to anticipate potential problems and offer solutions to ensure our vision was viable and ready for the construction stage, including pointing out structural concerns multiple contractors had not caught in prior initial walk throughs.  We are glad we decided to leverage the professional expertise and training of a licensed architect, and would definitely recommend Steven and would work with him again.

Steven was great from day one!  He arrived on time for every visit and was very professional. This was the first time we dealt with an Architect and he answered all our questions.  Steven listened to our wants and he came up with a design that matched them.   Once he completed the designs, he was very patient with the changes we requested.  Especially since they were mostly just interior changes we were looking for to help us visually see it the end result.  
We felt the cost of the service was worth the price. He continues to keep in touch with us and is helping us while we are now working with contractors.  I would highly recommend Steven for any projects and would use him again if needed.

I began working with Steven in October 2014.  I was planning a total remodel of the ground floor of a bi level home to create a separate living space.  I wanted a full bathroom and a kitchen included. 
Steven came to our home right on time and the first thing he did was listen to all my thoughts and ideas.  It was easy to see that I would like to work with him.  Not everyone will really listen to your ideas and questions with patience and respect.  I could see right
away that that Steven really loves what he does.
Steven came back again a few times and photographed every inch of the house, which resulted in architectural drawings for the entire house as it existed, and for the site as well.   He spent hours each time he came to measure- he was always respectful, pleasant and professional.  He has a positive attitude that is refreshing and contagious.
Steven then came back to sit down with me, looking over the space carefully and we talked in more detail about what I would like to do.  Again, he took his time to listen.  He said he would be in touch with me in a few days.  I have to say I was amazed when I saw his ideas.  I could never have thought of utilizing the existing space as he suggested.  To say he?s creative is an understatement.  His design was elegant and detailed. He presented the plan to me in several ways using the computer to show exact measurements and 3D views of the inside and outside of the house.   He also was careful to use existing plumbing when he designed the kitchen and bathroom to save costs.  He used tape on the floor and walked around with me so I could get an idea of where new walls would be, etc. 
I had a few ideas that I thought might be hard to incorporate.  But Steven always said he would be able to change the plans to reflect my wants. Sure enough, he would call me in a few days with new creative ideas that that made sense and were integrated seamlessly into the structure of the new space.  I was thrilled with his plans of a small addition that really opened up the space and was designed beautifully. Steven has a way of adding unexpected and unique touches without increasing the cost of the project.  He had a kitchen designer who came in and worked with us ? and she also presented a plan that was intelligent and not overpriced.  This was at no extra cost to me.  Steven also works with a structural engineer and this was a separate charge which I paid directly to her. 
Steven also consulted with a contractor who gave me a detailed estimate of what his bid would be.  This was a great help in my budget planning. 
We worked together and I loved the plans Steven made.  The next five to six months were spent in efforts to get a variance, working with a very strict zoning board.  Steven was the center of the team ? myself, my attorney, the structural engineer, and a professional planner. We had conference calls between the 5 of us and Steven communicated with each person individually
as well. It was a complicated variance request, and Steven worked tirelessly with all of us through these months to create a plan that would please the zoning board and still create what we wanted.  He talked with the zoning officer time and time again.  Steven had the skills necessary to present the project to the board and answer their many questions.  He supplied each member of the board with detailed and complete plans. We had to present the proposal several times to the board, and again, Steven was right there ? always patient, supportive, confident, and above all else ? professional. 
Once the proposal was approved, Steven went ahead and made 10 page construction documents for bidders.  (Each of these
pages is 22? x 32?!) Again, I was not prepared to see so much detail ? each part of the project ? electrical, framing, plumbing, etc. had at least one large page presenting the project and the specific requirements and codes for each subcontractor.   He also is making an energy analysis for the project.  I am now in the process of accepting a bid. 
I can truly say that Steven tied this whole project together for me.  I could have never done this without him along each step of the way.  Steven is worth every penny and more I paid him. He answered each call, each email, each appointment and attended each
meeting on time - every time. I recommend him without reservation for any project ? big or small.  You will not be disappointed.

We had a firm plan and had bought "salvaged cabinets" for the kitchen. Steve was very patient with our "unconventional" order of operations. He made some great changes to our plan and also served as an advisor during the general project plan. He was always prompt and respectful of our "budgetary" concerns. Our house was built in 1908 and had a few surprises. We would not have moved forward as smoothly without Steve's service.

Steve provided a proposal that was competitive and detailed. We were pleased with the responsiveness from Steve. He provided drawings on time and helped address questions and issues even after providing drawings. Would definitely recommend Steve and would not hesitate to use him in future.

We had purchased a "fixer-upper" home that needed massive amounts of work.  Steven was very flexible in scheduling our meetings, was incredibly patient, and listened to our concerns and needs for the project.  We had a basic idea of what we had wanted to do with the house, and Steven was VERY creative in how he utilized the space to create our dream home.  He was incredibly thorough and very detail-oriented.  When it came time to send the drawings out to bid, each contractor that we met with was very impressed with the level of detail that Steven had on his drawings.  They even commented on how most architects do not go into this level of detail, which shows how meticulous Steven's work is.  His drawings were very thorough and did not leave out any details.  Steven made it very easy for the contractors to write up an accurate bid.  We were absolutely thrilled with his work and we would definitely use him again.  We HIGHLY recommend him.

Steven was extremely patient with us and always friendly.  He kept his appointments, was responsive to our emails, and spent a lot of time answering my husband's large number of questions.  Steven took detailed measurements of our unit and listened to our ideas about what changes we might want to make.  He came up with several excellent ideas which we never would have thought of ourselves.  Steven is very knowledgeable and was generous with his advice. But he never forced his opinions on us or made us feel like we were wrong to not do everything he suggested.  There was always a great give and take and we definitely felt like Steven honestly wanted to help us achieve our dream condo (or as close as our budget would allow.)  I highly recommend Steven Giampietro and would have no hesitation about giving his name to any family and friends looking for an architect in our area.

His work was very thorough; the drawings were in great, but understandable, detail. I have complete confidence that when the wall is removed and his directions are followed during construction, we will have a stable structure to last a very long time. The experience working with Steven was smooth and enjoyable. I would definitely hire his firm again and would recommend them without hesitation.

Upon completion of the design/plans, Steve took the time to address any other concerns or questions I had. The 3-D model he created was impressive. It looks like a completely different yard. Additionally, he left us with color copies of the design he planned. Following this meeting, Steve continued to research and make phone calls to local vendors and get prices on building materials. A very thorough experience to say the least. Hoping to continue to the contracting process with him by our side!

Mr. Giampietro is the owner/operator and he took great care of us from the start. The project was a kitchen renovation and he started by sitting down and listening to everything that my wife and I wanted to incorporate into the project. Mr. Giampietro provided valuable suggestions on how to maximize functional space without sacrificing quality and do it on or under budget. He provided several 3D model design layouts as a starting point and worked with us to finalize the concept. He was also instrumental in recommending and coordinating efforts between the GC and other service providers, such as cabinetry. He drafted architectural drawings that passed our town codes without issue and the GC had clear instructions to work with.
Throughout the project Mr Giampietro was professional, knowledgeable and always accessible if we had any questions. The project was completed on schedule and under budget, so needless to say, we highly recommend his architectural design and project management services.
