Schmitt Waterproofing

Very disappointed with the owner and company. Very poor customer service, poor quality and over priced. I paid 1700$ for land shaping, fabric, drainage rock, and river rock and they did not bring any of that. They didn't shape the land, the rocks they brought crumble and won't last long. I've had had three rock suppliers tell me these are a mixture of sand stone mud rock and cultured rock. They are hideous and you can see how they just crumble. True river rock is beautiful and multi colored, dense and would be very difficult to break. You can see real river rock if you visit Northside gardens. They have genuine, beautiful river rock. Costs more than 100$ a pallet but for the price I paid that is what Josh Schmitt and his company should have brought me. In my opinion they stole 1700$ from me and haven't even offered a partial refund. Josh schmitt and his workers just laid down fabric and dropped the rocks down my yard with no design or consideration of drainage. As you can see in the pics it only made matters worse. My backyard became a pool. After posting one bad review the owner finally responded to one of my emails offering to "re-work"the area but would not tell me HOW he planned on doing it. I had them move all the rocks out of the way so I could do the job myself. I borrowed a tiller and laid down drainage rock that I had to purchase myself and moved each rock myself. In time, these "rocks" will degrade. Some of the cultured rocks look like pure concrete because they have already lost their fake color. Terrible company. Very disappointed.
