I needed a Mini-Split Unit for my basement. Matt and Jeremy were great to work with. They went over my available options and walked me through each step. It was a fast installation and we couldn't be happier with the result. They are a great company to work with, and we highly recommend them for all of your A/C needs.

Called Schelter and they were out that day. Turned out the problem was a bad circuit board. The tech didn't have one with him but called another tech, his father, who had one on his truck. The total time to fix was < 2 hours and everything was working great afterwards. I've used Schelter in the past and I highly recommend them for any heating and air issues.

Spoke with Matt on July 17 regarding my air conditioner that was not cooling well and he told me he would be here between 12-1 pm on July 18. He arrived the next day right on time. Diagnosed the problem as low freon and added this, along with leak sealant to help it last longer. Matt checked out both systems, answered my questions, and adjusted noisy vents for me. He is very professional, knowledgeable, and personable. Definitely will use again!

Have a maintenance contract with a larger company who shall remain nameless. Originally they could not schedule me until 9 days out... 9 Days!! They pushed priority scheduling as a benefit of the maintenance contract. Sorry but 9 days is not priority scheduling. They then agreed to have someone out in 5 days.... again, not priority as 24 to 48 hrs in my book is priority.
Called and spoke with Ron. Explained my situation and he actually correctly diagnosed my issue over the phone. Well, he had a good feeling of what the issue was but would need to confirm it. Said he could not promise a visit same day but would get there by Monday. Well, he showed up same day and fixed the issue. Can't say enough good things about this company. Schelter will be doing all of my future A/C work!!!!

My old condensate pump (that takes the condensation from an air conditioner out of your house) broke, spilling onto the floor. Luckily, I noticed the odd sound and turned it off before there was damage. Of course, the AC had to be turned off, too. Retailers carry only cheap condensate pumps that break often, so I called Ron Schelter, who has great work for me. Even on a Monday morning, I got in contact with him quickly and he said he could come out on the same day. He arrived early, installed a new pump, tested everything, and even changed the pipe leading to the pump to make it easier for me to access. Plus, he gave me advice on how to keep it running for a long time. While he was working on my condenser, he checked the freon, showed it was a little low, and offered freon.

Top notch, no complaints, will handle all A/C issues in future.

Quality experience, has been out to house on a couple of occasions, initially repairing work that another company could not get right after 4 tries; Ron handled in an hour and it humidifier has worked for several years, and he has done routine maintenance as well. Fair price, qualified and competent work, which seems to be hard to get from most of the big HVAC shops that seem to run through a lot of technicians without ever finding many that really know what they are doing.

They did a darn good job. They gave us references from previous clients and the price they quoted was below many others. They had no problems coming back to answer questions that I had. They also came out quickly to service my unit and did a great job cleaning up afterwards.
