Very pleased with sales process, follow-up and professionalism of employees performing the work.  The owner stopped by to check the job was done well and collect payment the same day.  All debris was cleaned up, including some leaves that we had raked beyond their duty.  They arrived a bit before 8am and wrapped up early in the afternoon. 
We had moved the furniture on the deck out of their way, but forgot about a solar light attached under the magnolia tree.  They moved the light to protect it and put it back how they found it when the job was done.  Nice.
I was a little concerned that this company only had two reviews on Angie's List, but the reviews looked good so we took a chance.  It paid off.  The company's web site is chopmytree.com.

We moved into our home about a month ago. Our back yard was a dense, tangled, wooded mess but showed some past promise and thought with a ton of azaleas, dogwoods, and other trees and shrubs. The challenge was, the whole thing was clogged by trash trees, dead trees, invasive plants, weeds, thicket, ivy, privet, and many other dense plants and bushes. Not to mention the yellow jacket nests, the poison ivy, etc.
We filled out the form on the website, and a day later Scott was here, walking the area with us. In the end we selected them for the following reasons:
1. Scott spent almost an hour looking, planning, and talking with us. He gave a lot of free advice, and identified a lot of areas where someone might tell is we needed to do a ton of work, but that a smaller effort would accomplish what we were looking to do
2. As we walked, he was very knowledgeable about every plant and tree, what it wanted or needed, why it was out of control or suffering, and a range of ways they could cut, trim, or leave it alone to maximize the use and beauty of our yard
3. His price was competitive and actually beat several of the estimates we received.
4. He was very honest about how he priced it -- he gave us a range but also was clear that they needed to get in there and see what they uncovered. No other estimate mentioned this, but when I asked them about specifics you could tell that they were guessing at best.
Once we accepted the job, the office scheduled us on the same day for just 2 days later. Scott was here to guide the crew, and the crew powered through quickly, efficiently, but gently. Sure they had chainsaws and a wood chipper, but they also very gingerly protected the good plants, our yard, and our walks as they lugged out the considerable cutoff. You would never known they were here, other than the lack of brush and the clean driveway that they swept up.
They did everything from bringing down some big trees in a densely wooded area (and right near my house) to pruning back high value and sensitive plants to maximize their health and blooms in the spring.
They came in under the budgeted hours, and even helped us out with a few limbs in the front yard, chipped a pile of brush we had created before , and blew off our roof and driveway.
I would have these guys back in a second. I expected to pay more, and would have paid more for the job they did. They got in, worked with pride and craftsmanship, the team worked great together, made sure I was satisfied, cleaned up, and went on down the road.
I'm not the kind of guy who gives rave reviews. If you show up on time and do the job as I expected, that's what you are supposed to do, nothing to see here. But from their price, to professionalism, to pride, to focus on my satisfaction, the entire team here exceeded my expectations.

Went well, showed up on time and completed in a days time

This particular service was the second time we used Torbott, and both times their professionalism, work, and followup have been exceptional. Estimates were performed within two or three days of initial phone call and work was completed within a couple of weeks of first contact, both times. Received a phone call prior to both services to confirm date and time. The crews work hard, are polite, clean up completely, and are respectful of the customer's property. When the job is complete, Torbott confirms customer satisfaction before asking for payment. During this most recent service, one of our neighbors complained that Torbott's equipment damaged the curbing near her driveway. The damage was very likely not the fault of Torbott, but they took responsibility and repaired the damage anyway. I honestly don't know if Torbott's prices are competitive - they were recommended to me by a friend and I hired them based on his high praise of their customer service. My experience was likewise terrific and completely worry-free and I will definitely use them again.

Really good. I was very happy. They were all in uniform, the trucks and equipment was all nice and new, they were on time, and did not leave a mess.
