It was a hassle. They finally got the job done right but it was very difficult. When they did paint our house, they were very busy. They sent out a contracting team that was horrible. They had to fir the subcontracting team and bring in one of their better subcontracted teams to finish the job. The group that came in did good work. It was fine. The first team was so bad and was an F. They may have damaged our air conditioning unit because they put a tarp on the air conditioning unit in the dead heat of the afternoon. An air conditioning unit can't breath. I know that we have to replace something on the air conditioning unit. Phoenix responsiveness was a little slow but they were responding well. They had a very good manager who handled the issue in a fairly quick manner. The first team would arrive at noon. They had a manager that did a very good job trying to answer our issues. I will not use Phoenix again just because I don't trust if they will send out a good team or not.

Phoenix General Contracting of Alpharetta, GA was hired by my HOA to spray wood protector onto the canopy near the pool at my complex. They clearly realized that the wind would carry the wood protector and covered some cars with a protective cloth, but neglected to cover all the cars surrounding the pool area. At least two cars got covered with the oil based wood protector. To Phoenix's credit, they did assume full responsibility for their negligence, and agreed to cover the costs to repair the damage. Prior to having the repairs on my car completed, I got authorization from their representative for $350 worth of work to remove the oil residue from my car. I completed the work and submitted the receipts, and several weeks later got a check for only $300. Now they are refusing to pay the remaining $50 which includes $20 for the tip to the detail shop, $16 fuel back and forth to the detail shop, and $12 for a rental car for the day the car was being repaired. Supporting receipts and documentation for these expenses were provided to Phoenix Contracting. Rather than make things right, they are refusing to reimburse me for the full costs to repair my vehicle which they damaged.

They seemed really reasonable. They did a really thorough job, and I was happy about that. The only problem that I had was that the owner of the company spoke Spanish, and I don't. I did have a difficult time explaining to somebody that they were painting my door the wrong color. They stayed here a long time. They had the job done on time, and they showed up on time. I didn't want them to get to my home early in the morning, because I didn't want to be woken up.
