We got estimates from 3-4 different tile contractors & chose Peter's Tile to do our job because of his pricing, level of detail in his estimate, his warranty & the reviews I had read of his work. Each contractor told us up front that with the way the existing shower was done, they really didn't know what kind of problems they would run into. Once Peter demo'd the shower, he found numerous problems (tile was put on sheetrock, not the proper material & therefore there was rotted wood, etc. that had to be replaced). Due to some of the problems Peter ran into, we changed a few things on the design planned, but Peter made some adjustments to pricing & we still came in within about $50 of the original estimate. The entire job was done quickly (4 days). Peter & his helper cleaned up every day, covered all of our bedroom furniture, closet doors, etc. so that demo dust would be contained. They did an outstanding job & we were very pleased with the job they did for us! Our shower is now done correctly & is beautiful. We would highly recommend Peter's Tile!!

This is one of the most professional contractors we have dealt with. From the moment Ms. Kowalski came for measurements to the end when they finished the job was a most pleasant experience. Peter, the owner, was a pleasure to deal with. Roman, who did most of the work, took pride in what he was doing and made sure we were pleased with his work. If Peter or Roman tell you they will be at your home at 8:00, they will be there at 8:00. The work was completed on a timely schedule. We definitely will use them in the future.
If we could give them an A plus, we would.
Communication and punctuality was spot on. Would definitely use him again.
Remodeled my shower/ steam enclosure. Complete tear out. Did some fancy tile design based on a photo. He did some minor plumbing running some copper pipe a short distance. Did an excellent job. Cleaned up afterwards. Peter dos the job himself sometimes with a helper so I trusted him to be honest in my house when doing the work. He locked up after his work every day. Finished on time and on the price quoted. Quote was very detailed and professional.
He has a heavy European accent. Be sure he understands what you want. Better yet, write it down. He likes email...
If you are looking for a tile contractor, use Peter...he is fantastic!!!
We got Peter's name from our neighbors, after we checked out the great bathroom remodel he did for them.
7/30/12: Great price and awesome work. Once again delivered as quoted. Very professional, communicates well and responds to emails. Was flexible when I needed to change the job schedule date. Will continue use Peter's Tile for my tile work.
"This women is an example of a customer that is impossible to satisfy no matter how hard you try.We preformed our job as well as we could have, which included following all directions( not cutting any corners, she dosen't know that we can use setting material that require 6 hours to dry instead of 48 hours but we do because we are professionals). We have had too much experience in our job that we have gained over the years of being in this business that iy is very unlikely for us to plug her drain , and we have even proved that it was not our fault. One of her contractor found the problem to be her hair and calcium plug( her house is over 50 years old and pipes are in very bad condition) in the drain , not grout that Peter left behind.Overall no matter what we would do to try satisfy this women , it was impossible and in the end she would still cut our check."
