He blended the replacements very well and even matched up new grout to old. They look great and you cannot tell which are the tiles that he replaced. We have had a lot of contractors in our house for our remodel over the past two months and Piotr was the most considerate and careful of all. He put ram board on the floors to walk on from the front door passing through the dining room and into the kitchen because he did not want to damage our new hardwood floors. No one else did this but he did for a small job! Very impressed!

Excellent!! Peter's Tile did a beautiful job in our master bath. Very respectful of our home. Showed up every day and worked non stop. At the end of the day they cleaned up and told you what he would do the next day. Expert craftsman and very polite. We supplied the materials and Peter's Tile provided the labor.

Our shower is fairly large (3 1/2 feet x 6 1/2 feet) that was custom built by the previous homeowner, who had taken out a garden tub & shower & made a large walk-in tiled shower & small linen closet.   Unfortunately, it appears the previous homeowner did the job himself & it was a poor job.   Although the tile work was pretty good, nothing was done correctly, nothing was level or sloped properly.  After we lived in the house a few years, we noticed a small leak would appear near the baseboard of the adjoining water closet (toilet area) from the shower.  Thankfully, we are on a slab foundation.
We got estimates from 3-4 different tile contractors & chose Peter's Tile to do our job because of his pricing, level of detail in his estimate, his warranty & the reviews I had read of his work.    Each contractor told us up front that with the way the existing shower was done, they really didn't know what kind of problems they would run into.   Once Peter demo'd the shower, he found numerous problems (tile was put on sheetrock, not the proper material & therefore there was rotted wood, etc. that had to be replaced).   Due to some of the problems Peter ran into, we changed a few things on the design planned, but Peter made some adjustments to pricing & we still came in within about $50 of the original estimate.   The entire job was done quickly (4 days).   Peter & his helper cleaned up every day, covered all of our bedroom furniture, closet doors, etc. so that demo dust would be contained.   They did an outstanding job & we were very pleased with the job they did for us!    Our shower is now done correctly & is beautiful.    We would highly recommend Peter's Tile!!

Overall, Peter did a great job and I will use him the next time I have a tile project.  Since my project was relatively small, I couldn't get a response from any of the other companies I contacted. Peter was happy to quote my project and schedule me for an install.  The scheduled date was 1.5 months out, but I took it anyways.  A week later Peter let me know he had an open spot, so I grabbed it.  He showed up today at the time promised, installed the tile exactly how I wanted it, cleaned up and left.  He also came in slightly under the price he quoted!  The quality of the install was great.

This is one of the most professional contractors we have dealt with.  From the moment Ms. Kowalski came for measurements to the end when they finished the job was a most pleasant experience.  Peter, the owner, was a pleasure to deal with.  Roman, who did most of the work, took pride in what he was doing and made sure we were pleased with his work.  If Peter or Roman tell you they will be at your home at 8:00, they will be there at 8:00.  The work was completed on a timely schedule.  We definitely will use them in the future.

If we could give them an A plus, we would.

Quality work and excellent service! Great work ethic, highly recommend Peter for any project. Peter gave us the option of choosing the things we wanted to do (remove old stuff) and he took care of the rest, he was very easy to work with.

Remodeled my shower/ steam enclosure. Complete tear out. Did some fancy tile design based on a photo. He did some minor plumbing running some copper pipe a short distance. Did an excellent job. Cleaned up afterwards. Peter dos the job himself sometimes with a helper so I trusted him to be honest in my house when doing the work. He locked up after his work every day. Finished on time and on the price quoted. Quote was very detailed and professional.

He has a heavy European accent. Be sure he understands what you want. Better yet, write it down. He likes email...

,Peter and his assistant Roman did an outstanding job, they are true tile/stone craftsmen! I paid extra for Kerti wall membrane, ask him about this, no one seems to know about this extra wall membrane to prevent any water leakage in the walls. Peter ripped out my masterbath and replaced the carpet floor with tile; we went with slate on the walls of the shower. He and his assistant worked over a week and a half, but the results are phenomenal. I will try to add pictures if possible.
If you are looking for a tile contractor, use Peter...he is fantastic!!!

Nothing but an A+++ for Peter's Tile!!! Very friendly, courteous and professional with exceptional craftsmanship. Quote was very reasonable and right on target..no surprises. Workers were courteous, excellent craftsman and GREAT communicators. Before they did a section of the project, they always confirmed with us how we wanted things done so there were no surprises. Their craftsmanship was exquisite..we still continue to marvel at how nice our bathrooms look. They cleaned up every evening before they left and did a great cleanup job at the end. Owner Peter came out at various times throughout the project to make sure all was going well and also came out at the end to make sure job was done to his/our satisfaction. This was one of the best contractors we've ever used! They also did our neighbor's bath project and they were just as pleased.

Peter did a great job on our master bath shower remodeling project. The people who renovated our home before we bought it were not craftsmen, and the work they did was mediocre. We hired Peter to redo the shower and he exceeded our expectations. When he tore out the walls there was a hollow space behind one wall. We had mentioned it would be nice to enlarge the shower, so Peter asked if we wanted to do that. We agreed and he redid the estimate, and proceeded with the project. Even though we changed the scope of the work, he was able to complete the project in four days as scheduled. Peter recommended we go with a Schluter Kerdi waterproof membrane for added waterproofing, and we included this in the project. Peter's work was excellent and his price was reasonable. We would use him again and recommend him to our friends. He is a real craftsman.
We got Peter's name from our neighbors, after we checked out the great bathroom remodel he did for them.

Peter did an excellent job with my bathroom project to remove an existing tub/shower and replace it with a tiled shower. He also re-tiled the bathroom floor. First, he was responsive and proactive in his communications with me from my initial contact onward. Second, he provided me with a detailed estimate, including pricing out various components individually to allow me the flexibility to chose various options and to do a little of the pre- and post-work myself to save a little money. Third, he and his assistant maintained a clean environment in and around my house during the duration of the project. Fourth, he clearly is a talented tile layer and he did a first-rate job with the tile work. I definitely would use him again and I highly recommend him.

Peter was very professional and did everything he promised. His price seemed fair and was competitive. He explained all critical features (plumbing, shower pan, tiling, waterproofing and grouting) as he went along. The job took 5 days but this was because he was very thorough and the work had to be undertaken in stages. I would have no hesitation in using Peter again in fact he is praparing me a quote on additional work.

We had called around for four estimates. The three we did not use did not know anything about the Kurdi Schlutter and could not offer it. Peter has a very humble spirit and told us about working with the Kurdi Schlutter membrane. The work was wonderful. He followed through on everything. He was clean, efficient, and has quite the artistic eye for the tile. He is honest and made the work very cost efficient. His price was also very good. We have recommended him to our friends. I was very impressed with his work.

2/28/11: Peter's Tile did a very nice job. Methodical and professional, delivered the tile job as quoted and no changes in price at end. Left no mess behind. Tile in good shape a year and half later. I would hire Peter again.
7/30/12: Great price and awesome work. Once again delivered as quoted. Very professional, communicates well and responds to emails. Was flexible when I needed to change the job schedule date. Will continue use Peter's Tile for my tile work.

What a disaster. He did not want to follow the specific installation instructions that came with the Oceanside glass tile. He wanted to speed the installation up by 48 hours and tried to convince me that the instructions did not matter. Then he installed floor tile in a shower and did not protect the drain, he washed the grout down it and completely clogged the drain by closing it off. I had to hire my contractor to fix it and Peter did not want to pay to repair the damage. He became angry and physically threatening and I had to force him out of the house. Avoid avoid avoid.
Response from Peter's Tile
"This women is an example of a customer that is impossible to satisfy no matter how hard you try.We preformed our job as well as we could have, which included following all directions( not cutting any corners, she dosen't know that we can use setting material that require 6 hours to dry instead of 48 hours but we do because we are professionals). We have had too much experience in our job that we have gained over the years of being in this business that iy is very unlikely for us to plug her drain , and we have even proved that it was not our fault. One of her contractor found the problem to be her hair and calcium plug( her house is over 50 years old and pipes are in very bad condition) in the drain , not grout that Peter left behind.Overall no matter what we would do to try satisfy this women , it was impossible and in the end she would still cut our check."
