We have used Mr. Monk's services on three previous occasions (before we joined Angie's List). His crew arrives when they promise and do a fantastic and professional job. We were a little worried because the trees were so tall and not that far from the house, but they did their work like a well-oiled machine. Everything went according to plan and they did a great job of cleaning up, too. Mr. Monk told us the stump grinder would show up the next day and he did. He also did an excellent job. Sorry, don't know the name of the stump grinding company. Monk's Tree Service has consistently done a good job for us on our heavily wooded lot, at a reasonable price, so we will continue to use them in the future.

Ray Monk and his employees did an excellent job on tree removal. They removed 14 large trees and trimmed 3 at a reasonable price. Since we had a large number of trees to be cut Ray had a log truck remove these after they were cut down and limbs removed. A couple of the trees were located near buildings and they had no problems getting the trees down. One tree that the wind blew down was hung in the top of another tree. If this tree had fallen it would have taken down a wooden fence. They removed the tree with no damage to our fence. When Ray came to give us a price I "stressed" that all wood had to be removed and area left clean. His team did an excellent job in this area. All tree limbs were chipped and wood removed. They also raked the smaller debris out of our gravel driveway and grass. Will definitely use Monk's tree service again.

The job went very well, and I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.
