Metlife has high prices for me but I have two teenage boys so that's why. Before I had the boy's driving it was normal, I felt it was good pricing but when I added my two sons it got much more expensive. Last week when my mom's car arrived here in GA I contacted their center and told them I wanted to put the car into GA insurance because it was in CT insurance and they said they would pick it up from the day I called in December which was fine. They sent me all new cards for the cars because I added my mom to the policy. When i went through the title next week next week I stood in a huge line at the title office and I got to the window and I knew they would ask for some other crazy thing that was not on the online listing and they did of course and I had all my papers which was good. When it got to the insurance part I told them here is my card which had all my information on it and everything. They told me it was worthless in GA because we only go by electronic stuff that is in the system that comes to us. I told them it should be in the system because they put it in December and here it was February when i went in the last week of February. She looked and couldn't find it but she said I had it put in in December and I didn't get down to the title office in February, she said sometimes when there is not a registration yet it doesn't have any place to attach to and it kind of falls out of the system. She told me she didn't know what we were going to do. I told her I didn't want to wait in the big long line again and she suggested I call them. I went out and called and got a person who was very nice and helpful and he said, "Ma'am, yes you are definitely covered and you've been covered since December 18th." He said, "Hold on, you're at the tag office now?" I said, "Yes." He said, "I don't want you to think I'm disconnecting you but as soon as I'm done here with you I'm going to transfer over to the group that actually submits this to the GA Motor Vehicle and we're going to do an emergency send over so within five minutes they'll have it there," and I said, "Okay." He told me it was going to be dead silence and not to think he hung up but it's going to take a few moments. He came back on within 10 minutes and said it was done and as of 11:40 it was there so I just cut in front of all those people and went back to the window because the lady told me I could go up there and it was there and we were able to do the plates. It was really good customer service when there was an issue with seeing something at the Motor Vehicle that they did it as an emergency request right away. Within the 10 minutes it was back up and there. You could also say to that why wasn't it there in the first place but again it could have fell out of the system without the registration to tie it, I'm not sure how all that works but apparently that is a common thing at Motor Vehicle. I feel that their customer service to handle that situation was very good. I would use them again in the future.
