They found several issues that should have been addressed in builder's QC but were not. They are very detailed and trustworthy. I know many people that say "it's a new home and under warranty", but my experience proved otherwise. Both Joe and Jim are wonderful individuals who educate you throughout the process. Thanks guys--see you again in seven years (my next move!!!)

As a home buyer from out of town I was unable to attend the inspection appointment and needed to find an
inspector I could trust. I was very happy with the work performed and
final detailed inspection report delivered to me. I sent Medallion a
list of ~20 questions before the inspection and they patiently answered
every single one, allaying each of my concerns. In addition, Medallion
performed a thorough roof inspection by walking on the roof -- critical to have completed.. Overall, Medallion spent about 4 hours
on the job. Medallion sent 2 inspectors and they seemed to work very well together.

"Thank you for the review. As part of the cost we included a 48 hour radon test. The radon monitor was placed in the house at least 2 full days before the inspection appointment. We are glad we were able to help, especially since you were unable to attend the inspection. About half of our clients are unable to attend, so we take special care to write our findings in a report that is useful and easy to understand. We have seen many of the reports other inspectors issue, and frankly most are very difficult to read and understand what is wrong with the house. Finally, since we performed your inspection we were investigated by noted Atlanta consumer reporter Dale Cardwell. "Thanks for your kind review. Please note you said we ship our radon tests to Boston. We have never done that. It takes two days for the test to sample the air according to the protocol set by the US EPA. We place a continuous electronic monitor that samples and tests the air onsite. When we recover the machine at the end of the test we immediately download, review and share the results with you. And, when possible we visit the house and place the monitor BEFORE the inspection so we have results at the inspection."

These guys are SUPERB! As promised on their great Web site, they taught me SO much more about the condo and I felt more confident about my purchase after Jim and Joe inspected and later re-checked the property. With their guidance and my inspection report in hand, I knew how to proceed and got the builder to perform all the repairs needed before closing. It was an incredible relief to have Jim and Joe in my corner! I really feel they protected my interests and made sure this purchase was a solid investment.
